On 17/07/2025,
Mangan Police Station team was successful in nabbing a mother-son duo involved in peddling contraband cough syrup.
Total of 72 bottles of contraband cough syrup were seized from the Chadey Mangan during house search conducted in presence of executive magistrate and respectable witnesses, a case registered against accused.
This achievement showcases the team's dedication to maintaining law and order, and it's truly commendable

Today, Hon'ble Minister Shri Samdup Lepcha,Social Welfare Department cm Area MLA of 31-Lachen Mangan Constituency, paid a visit to the affected village at Lachen. The Minister's visit aimed to assess the situation and provide support to the affected community.

The Hon'ble Minister was accompanied by key officials, including ADC Chungthang, SDM Chungthang, Lachen Pipons, and representatives from the Police Department and Forest Department. This high-level visit underscored the government's commitment to addressing the concerns of the affected village.

The team comprised Shri Samdup Lepcha (Hon'ble Minister), ADC Chungthang, SDM Chungthang, Lachen Pipons, officials from the Police Department and Forest Department, and other important dignitaries. Together, they interacted with the locals, understood their grievances, and took note of the challenges faced by them.

My brother has been ill for a few months, but he's finally recovering. The treatment at CMC Vellore is excellent, and the hospital here is great. I'm glad he's getting better. 🤗
