The day my brand new Mahindra Scorpio N broke down on the highway — Mahindra took my car via RSA and arranged a taxi for me.
There I was — sitting in someone else’s car, going for my own podcast shoot, while my guests waited 3-4 hours. I started recording my frustration.
And then — completely spontaneous — the taxi driver said something that stopped me cold:
‘Mahindra mein kaafi manufacturing defects aa rahe hain. Bohot issues hain.’
He didn’t know my story. He didn’t know I was fighting Mahindra for 6 months. He just said what people on the ground already know.
This is not just my problem. This is Mahindra’s reality today.

This is the day my brand new Mahindra Scorpio N broke down on the highway — completely losing pickup, shaking, undriveable. My guests were coming from Ludhiana for a professional shoot. I had to ask them to wait 4 more hours.
This was not a one-time incident. For 6 months, this car has given me nothing but problems — infotainment failures, ESP malfunction, Hill Descent errors, engine wiring replacement, fuel pump replaced twice — on a BRAND NEW CAR.
I raised my concerns with Mahindra multiple times. Their final answer? ‘We cannot offer replacement or refund.’
