Save Youth Save Future Foundation Marks 7 Years of Grassroots Impact in Kashmir

Srinagar 14 August (Kashmir Post) Save Youth Save Future Foundation today celebrated its 7th Anniversary with a dignified ceremony graced by the presence of DIG & Director SDRF Kashmir, Shri Imtiyaz Hussain Mir as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Suneem Khan as the Guest of Honour.

Also in attendance were Chairman SYSF, Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Professor Bashrat Shameem, Women's Wing President, Ms. Anika Nazir, Vice President, Mr. Mir Arif, and Zonal President, Mr. Mudasir Ahmed Dar, along with the organisation’s core leadership and district heads representing every operational wing across Kashmir.

In his address, Shri Imtiyaz Hussain Mir commended SYSF’s unwavering efforts in promoting peace, empowerment, and youth engagement across the Valley. Dr. Suneem Khan, Professor Bashrat Shameem, and Ms. Anika Nazir also addressed the gathering, emphasising the organisation’s role in fostering unity, resilience, and progressive change in Kashmir.

The voices of grassroots leadership were also heard, with district coordinators Irshad Ahmed Bhat (Shopian), Jasib Shabir (Pulwama), Dr. Zahid Sultan ( Pulwama), Dr. Sareer Ahmed (Kulgam), Shahid-ul-Islam (Anantnag), Moin-ul-Hameed (Baramulla), Shabir Ahmed (Budgam), and Muskan Nargis (Srinagar) sharing their experiences, reflecting SYSF’s deep community reach and impact across the region.

A felicitation ceremony honoured members whose outstanding contributions have strengthened SYSF’s mission. The event concluded with Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat delivering the Vote of Thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests, members, mentors, and supporters whose dedication continues to drive the Foundation’s vision.

SYSF’s journey stands as a testament to what unity, dedication, and vision can achieve. As we enter the next chapter, we renew our pledge to work towards a Kashmir free from fear, shaped by peace, justice, and opportunity for every youth.

BSF Cyclists Pedal for Unity, Celebrating 79th Independence Day

Srinagar,14 August– The Border Security Force (BSF) today felicitated 79 cyclists from the 'Pedal for Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' rally a monumental event celebrating India's 79th Independence Day. The cyclists, from the BSF Humhama Srinagar unit completed a 79-kilometer journey to promote national unity and commemorate the nation's rich diversity.

Mubashir Riyaz from Hajin Sonawari was honored with an appreciation token by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha during the Cyclists Pedal event held at BSF Humhama Srinagar.The recognition highlights Mubashir’s dedication and active participation in promoting sports and fitness in the region serving as an inspiration for youth to engage in healthy and constructive activities.

He is the Student Union President at Central University of Kashmir. He was recognized as a Youth Icon of Jammu & Kashmir for promoting cycling and inspiring fitness, connecting with a large audience through social media.

FULL DRESS REHEARSAL FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY-2025 CELEBRATION HELD AT SPORTS STADIUM BANDIPORA.

```In a vibrant display of patriotic fervour and meticulous preparation, the *Full Dress Rehearsal* for the forthcoming *Independence Day Celebration-2025* was successfully today held at Sports Stadium, Bandipora.

On the occasion, Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora (ADDC) Zafar Ahmad Shawl-JKAS accompanied by Additional SP Bandipora, Shri.Ruhail Mircha-JKPS unfurled the *National Flag* and took the salute at the impressive march past.

The parade was commanded by Probationary Dy.SP Wasu Aggarwal-JKPS, with spirited participation from contingents of District Police Bandipora, SSB, CRPF, JKP Ladies Wing,J&K Fire Services,Forest Protection Force, SPOs, Home Guard, and students from various educational institutions across the district.

Senior officers from both the Civil and Police Administration witnessed the event, adding to its ceremonial grandeur.

Following the march past, the audience was treated to a series of colourful and culturally rich performances presented by cultural clubs and school students, showcasing the diverse heritage and talent of District Bandipora.

The rehearsal not only reflected the district’s readiness for the grand celebration on 15th August but also rekindled the spirit of unity, patriotism, and pride among all participants and spectators.```
