The Gram Sabha held on 27th December 2024 by the 09-Ben Namprick GPU was a significant event in the local governance , specifically focusing on two major topics: the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) for the financial year 2025-26 and the operation and maintenance of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) infrastructure.
The Sabha had a presence of Shri Roshan Rai, BDO Temi BAC, Shri Ram Bahadur Rai panchayat president and miss Chumjey Bhutia v.president accompanied by Panchayat members, AE Temi BAC, concerned JE , line Departments,citizens, General public and GPU Staff.
Discussions on GPDP for FY 2025-26: One of the core aspects of the Gram Sabha was the presentation and discussion of the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) for the upcoming financial year (2025-26) and approval of the GPDP would help guide the allocation of funds.
Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) – Operation and Maintenance: Another key topic discussed was the operation and maintenance of the Jal Jeevan Mission infrastructure.
The Gram Sabha focused on how the village would ensure the sustainability and maintenance of these water supply systems.
o User Group Formation and user charge were discussed.
Departmental schemes were delivered by the line department and Many issues were discussed during zero hour such as JJM and other issues.
