A view from the top floor (minaret) of Jamia Masjid in the middle of the Old City located in the Srinagar region of Kashmir, India on 9 November 2022. The Jamia Masjid was built by Sultan Sikandar Shahmiri in 1398 AD with a measurement of 381 ft by 384 ft built in area of 1,46,000 sqf. The attractions of the Jamia Masjid is its unique architecture, it has a courtyard and 378 wooden Deodar pillars supporting wooden ceiling with 346 pillars of 21 feet in height and 5 feet in girth and 32 pillars with 48 feet in height and 6 feet in girth. The Jamia masjid is provided with a fountain measuring 33 ft by 34 ft which serves purpose of ablution, the pulpit of the masjid has been decorated with the precious granite engraved with 99 attributes of Allah.
