Jammu and Kashmir Justice and Development Front (its Jameeti Islamic based Organization) 9on Sunday organised a one-day workers' meeting at Dak Bungalow Chijahama Rafiabad area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The event was primarily aimed at discussing strategies for the upcoming Panchayat and Urban Local Body (ULB) elections in the Union Territory.The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of party members hailing from Kupwara, Bandipora, and Baramulla districts, reflecting growing grassroots support for the party.

"Pay Tax and Relax " says Chief Commisioner Income tax

Celebrating the Income tax day, Income tax department Srinagar led by Chief Commisioner of Income Tax (Jammu & Kashmir & Ladakh) , Sh Vikram Sahay ,organised an awareness program at DAK Banglow Sopore.

Mr Sahay , who is a 1992 batch of Indian Revenue Service addressed the gathering and emphasised on timely compliances and correct declaration. Mr Sahay while highlighting the importance of Income tax in national development assured the taxpayers of speedy grievance redressal and better awareness through more outreach programs.

The tax awareness program saw participation of more than 100 local
Traders in addition to tax professionals , representatives of Sopore traders association , Income Tax Bar Association , Phd chamber of commerce & Industry , Kashmir chapter and other local trade bodies.

District administration baramulla and the police administration of Sopore actively facilitated the conduct of the successful event that witnessed active participation of the local
Business community.
The program also include a brief but focused presentation on income tax provisions that was presented by Sh Abhineet Jhorar , Income Tax officer Srinagar that was followed by a questions and answer session.
The awareness program led by Sh Vikram Sahay was helmed by a team of officers of the income tax department Srinagar including Sh Farhat khan , Commisioner Income tax, Dr Ruveda Salam , Joint Commisioner Income tax , Shakil Ahmad Ganie, Deputy Commisioner Income tax , Moin Siddiqui , Income Tax Officer Srinagar , Vimal Madan Income Tax officer Srinagar , Gulzar ahmad , ITO ( TDS) Srinagar.On the occasion Shabir Ahmad Raina ( ADC Sopore) was also present and actively facilitated the conduct of the event.
The representatives of the Sopore trade association while appreciating the effort of the Income tax department emphasised on the need of more such events to create a positive ecosystem around and about taxation.

At the event Mr Sahay underscored the taxpayer friendly approach of the department and asssured the gathering that in a targeted way more such awareness programs will be conducted across the districts of the Kashmir valley.

A literary event was organised by Bazmi Sher o Adab Shumale Kashmir at Dak Bungalow Sopore town.The event was based on Fiction & Poetry Symposium.

بزم شعروادب شمالی کشمیر اور کشمیر مرکینٹائل کواپریٹیو بنک کے اشتراک سے ڈاک بنگلہ سوپور میں ایک ادبی مجلس کا انعقاد کیا گیا جو کہ دو نشستوں پر مشتمل رہی. پہلی محفل نثری ادب کے تعلق سے منعقد کی گئی جبکہ دوسری نشست میں ایک مشاعرہ منعقد ہوا.
محفل کا آغاذ تلاوت کلام پاک سے کیا گیا جس کے فرائض جناب ریاض ہاکباری صاحب نے انجام دئے جس کے بعد نعت شریف جناب محمد سیئد مسعودی صاحب نے پیش کیا.
نشست کے آغاذ میں بزم شعر و ادب شمالی کشمیر کے روح رواں صدر جناب یوسف صمیم نے صدارتی کلمات پیش کئے جس میں انہوں نے ادبی مجالس کے انعقاد کے پیچھے کا مقصد ظاہر فرمایا.
محفل کے صدارت جناب فیاض تلگامی صاحب نے کی جبکہ صفحہ سامعین میں جناب عبد الخالق شمس صاحب,جناب رشید کانسپوری صاحب, جناب غلام رسول وگے صاحب اور مقبول فیروزی صاحب شامل رہے.
پہلی نشست میں نامور افسانہ نگار محترمہ رافعہ ولی نے اپنا افسانہ پڑھا اور جناب رشید آفاق صاحب نے جناب مرحوم رحیم سوپوری کی حیات و خدمات پر مقالہ پیش کیا. اس کے بعد مقالہ اور افسانے کی رو سے تاثربت پیش کئے گئے اور سیر حاصل بحث ہوئی. محفل میں اچھی تعداد میں شعراء و ادباء نے شرکت کی. پہلی نشست کی نظامت وادی کے نامور براڈکاسٹر اور قلمکار جناب شبنم وجپوری صاحب نے کی.
دوسری نشست میں ایک عالی شان مشاعرہ پیش کیا گیا جس کی نظامت کا فریضہ بزم کے جنرل سیکریٹری جناب مدثر مرچال نے انجام دیا. مشاعرے میں جن شعراء نے اپنا کلام پڑا ان کے اسمائے گرامی یوں ہیں;
جناب رمیض رشک,جناب مشتاق سیمپوری, جناب گل تنویر,جناب تنہا مشتاق, جناب جی ایم ذاہد, جناب شبنم وجپوری, جناب یوسف صمیم, جناب ریاض ربانی, جناب ریاض ہاکباری, جناب رشید کانسپوری, جناب عبدل خالق شمس, جناب عابد اشرف, جناب رشید روشن, جناب نذیر طالب, جناب رشید آفاق ,جناب شہزاد منظور,جناب محی الدین دلاور, جناب حسن ذرین,جناب حسن درویش,جناب شاہد مظفر, جناب مجید شہباز وغیرہ.
اختتام پر کشمیر مرکینٹائل کواپریٹیو بنک کے ام ڈی جناب فیاض احمد صاحب نے تحریک شکرانہ پیش کیا.

اس دوران خواتین کے ساتھ ساتھ دیگر لوگوں نے خون کا عطیہ دیا اور کہا کہ اس قسم کے پروگرام کرنا کافی ضروری ہے کیونکہ اس سے سماج میں کافی فائدہ ملتا ہے۰
