Rafiabad Literary Center organized a grand poetry festival in collaboration with J&K People's Education Trust as part of its Silver Jubilee
Sopore: Rafiabad Literary Center organized a grand poetry festival in collaboration with J&K People's Education Trust. This auspicious event was inaugurated by the Vice President of the Center, Mr. GM Tohidi, and after forming the presiding officer, Hassan Azhar took the dais to conduct the poetry festival. The poetry festival began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, which was performed by Latif Ahmed, a class 10 student of Darul Salam Children's House, while Miss Tarfina, a student of the same school, was honored to present Naat Sharif.
Before the poetry festival, the talented children of J&K People's Education Trust presented a welcome song as a welcome sermon.
The Mushaira was presided over by Professor Muhammad Zaman Azarda. While Professor Muhammad Muzaffar War was the chief guest, distinguished Kashmiri poet Mr. Fayyaz Talgami and President of Rafiabad Literary Center Mr. Shabnam Gulzar were present in the presidency. The Mushaira was directed by the General Secretary of the Center Mr. Hassan Azhar. This event was celebrated as the Silver Jubilee celebration of Rafiabad Literary Center. Professor Muhammad Muzaffar War delivered the keynote address on the occasion.
The poets who participated in the poetry recitation included Professor Ismail Ashna, Professor Ghulam Mohiuddin Mir, Mr. Fayyaz Tala Gami, Mr. Bashir Mangalpuri, Mr. Ghulamuddin Bihar, Mr. Shabnam Gulzar, Mr. Farooq Rafiabad, Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Dilgir, Mr. GM Tohidi, Mr. Riaz Hakbari, Mr. Farooq Shaheen, Mr. Hassan Azhar, Mr. Rashid Johar, Mr. Tariq Ahmed Tariq, Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Mir (Gula Mir), Mr. Riaz Rabbani Kashmiri, Mr. Sagar Nazir, Mr. Athar Farooq, Mr. Ghulamuddin Bihar, Mr. Majru Kashmiri, Mr. Pervez Amin, and Mr. Shaukat Rahi.
