Buyurs Association fruit mandi Sopore in Colloboration with Nowpora Cardboard dealers Association held meeting at Fruit mandi sopore.

During the meeting the focus was kept on that the fruit mandi season is already underway and the growers are using Cardboard for this purpose, but the buyurs Association said that we appeal the the sub standard Cardboard must not be available in the fruit mandi.

Minor boy’s body recovered from Nallah after three-day search

Sopore, The body of a minor boy, who had drowned in the Pohru Nallah at Wadoora in north Kashmir’s Sopore area, was recovered on Tuesday after a three-day-long search operation, officials said.

An official told that the body was recovered from the Nawpora area of Sopore following an extensive search operation carried out by teams of the Sopore Police, (SDRF), MARCOS and the Indian Army.

He said the boy had gone missing after drowning in the Pohru Nallah at Wadoora, triggering a rescue and search operation that continued for three days.
The deceased was identified as Furqan Rafiq Hajam.The official said the body has been shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities and will be handed over to the family after completion of the legal procedures.

Fruit growers and dealers association fruit mandi sopore have expressed their concern over the blockade of srinagar jammu national highway. Fayaz Ahmad Malik, president fruit mandi sopore said that the closure of highway due to rainfall and landslides has been causing losses to the fruit industry. He appealed the government to make movement of fruit laden trucks smooth so that growers could not face any losses.

One-Day Labour Welfare Programme Organised in Sopore.

Sopore, National Human Rights J&K Kashmir, in collaboration with the Fruit Labour Union Mazbugh Sopore, organised a one-day awareness programme focusing on the welfare, rights, and well-being of fruit market labourers.
The programme was attended by several dignitaries, including Chief Guest Kamaljeet Kour, National Human Rights President Shahzada Gill, Fruit Mandi Buyers Association President Mudasir Ahmad Bhat, and Fruit Labour Union President Showket Ahmad Trantry.

سوپور: جنرل اوقاف کمیٹی نوپورہ کلاں-بی، سوپور کے زیرِ اہتمام آج ایک اہم اجلاس منعقد ہوا، جس میں گاؤں سے متعلق مختلف عوامی مسائل پر تفصیلی غور و خوض کیا گیا اور ان کے مؤثر حل کے لیے مختلف تجاویز پیش کی گئیں۔

General Auqaf Committee of Nowpora Kalan-B, Sopore, on Today held a meeting to discuss various issues concerning the village and explore effective measures for their resolution.

During the meeting, members deliberated on matters related to public welfare, community development, drug awareness, and the timely redressal of local grievances. The participants emphasized the need to create greater awareness among youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse and stressed the importance of collective efforts, coordination, and active public participation to safeguard society from the menace of drugs while ensuring the overall development of the village.

On the occasion, the newly established office of the General Auqaf Committee, Nowpora Kalan-B, was formally inaugurated.
