Save Youth Save Future Foundation Felicitated at Pride of J&K Ceremony
Srinagar, J&K – 27th September 2025 – Save Youth Save Future Foundation was felicitated today at a prestigious ceremony held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar, organised to honor exemplary service during the recent natural catastrophe in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The honour was presented by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, who graced the event as the Chief Guest. The award was received by Wajahat Farooq Bhat Chairman, Save Youth Save Future Foundation, in recognition of the organisation’s outstanding contribution to relief, rescue, and community service during the crisis.
The felicitation forms part of Network 18’s “Pride of J&K” Award, instituted to acknowledge the conspicuous courage, humanitarian commitment, and selfless dedication of individuals, security forces, and civil society organisations in times of adversity.
Expressing gratitude on the occasion, Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat said:
“This honour belongs to every member of Save Youth Save Future Foundation who stood on the ground with courage and compassion. It strengthens our resolve to continue working for youth empowerment, social harmony, peace, and reconciliation.”
Since its inception in 2018, Save Youth Save Future Foundation has engaged more than 3 lakh youth across Jammu & Kashmir through awareness campaigns, educational programs, peace and reconciliation initiatives, skill development, and community outreach activities. Its humanitarian role during the recent catastrophe once again highlighted its unwavering commitment to society and the Idea of India.
