Cass 6 Student Allegedly Made to Sweep School; Probe Ordered in Baramull

Baramulla: 20 Augest,,Serious allegations have surfaced at Government Middle School Nowgam Tragpora in Baramulla, where a Class 6 student allegedly claimed that she was made to sweep classrooms and the school premises by a teacher.

Taking cognizance of the matter, the Joint Director Education, North Kashmir, has ordered an inquiry into the allegations. Officials have been directed to visit the school and submit a detailed report within two days.

The education authorities have stated that appropriate action will be taken if the allegations are found to be true. The inquiry is expected to ascertain the facts and determine responsibility in the matter.
