As part of the nationwide outreach programme “Budget Chaupal / Budget Pe Charcha”, a detailed interactive session was organised in Khanyar, aimed at creating awareness and encouraging discussion on the Union Budget and its impact on common citizens.
The programme was held under the leadership of Advocate Salman, District President BJP Srinagar, along with Mehraj-ud-Din Khan, Constituency President Khanyar, and Mushtaq Ahmad Malla, General Secretary Khanyar. A large number of BJP workers, youth members, and local residents participated in the session.
During the Budget Chaupal, party leaders explained the key highlights of the Union Budget, focusing on financial planning, development initiatives, welfare schemes, youth empowerment, and economic growth. The interactive format allowed participants to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of how budgetary provisions directly benefit the people at the grassroots level.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders emphasized that “Budget Pe Charcha” is an important initiative to bridge the gap between policy-making and public understanding, ensuring transparency and active public participation in the democratic process.
