Poor Drainage in Bandipora's Check Reshipora Floods Shed, Family Faces Repeated Hardship

Due to continuous rainfall over the past few days in Bandipora’s Check Reshipora area, water has entered a shed, causing severe inconvenience for the family residing there. The shed owner expressed frustration, stating that this recurring issue is a result of the poor drainage system in the locality.

“Whenever it rains, water flows directly into the shed. It becomes extremely difficult for us to manage during such conditions,” said the owner. He further mentioned that despite raising the issue with the concerned authorities on multiple occasions, no action has been taken so far to address the problem.

The waterlogging not only damages property but also blocks access to the shed, adding to the family’s difficulties. Residents of the area have also voiced similar concerns and urged the administration to intervene.

The affected family has appealed to the District Administration of Bandipora to take immediate steps toward improving the drainage infrastructure and ensuring relief from this persistent problem.
