79 Bn CRPF organized a Tiranga Rally today i.e. 12/08/25 at 0730 hrs starting from Amar Singh Club, Sonwar to RK crossing-Aziz bridge-Diamond crossing-Gupkar Road in which 75 Officers/persl of unit u/c Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Commandant, 79 Bn as well as JKP persl from PS RM Bagh, SSB persl and civilians from Sonwar actively partcipated.

The aim of the Tiranga Yatra organized by 79 Bn is to foster a sense of patriotism, unity, and respect for the Indian national flag among citizens-especially in the run-up to Independence Day-and to honour the sacrifices of security personnel, while promoting national integration in a sensitive region.

The Tiranga Yatra is part of the broader "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign, which encourages citizens to hoist the Indian flag at their homes and workplaces, symbolizing personal and collective commitment to nation-building and national pride.

Udhampur-Baramula railway link will boost Kashmir's trade and will cut travel time: Sikana Yatoo

"Mehbooba forget about about toffee, milk whatever issue Kashmir have is her goodwill"

Bandipora: The Minister of Health and Education Sikana Itoo on Wednesday said that Udhampur-Baramulla railway link which is scheduled to be inaugurated tomorrow by Prime Minister Modi will be game changer for Kashmir and will boost economy, and will cut travel time.

Reacting on the issue of Kashmir pandits raised by Mehbooba M***i, Itoo said that whatever problems Kashmiri people face these days is her kindness.

She also said that Mehbooba forgot about the toffee and milk issue. “Omar-led government is committed to bring back Kashmiri pandits, and has already raised these issues several times in the assembly.”

She also interacts with students in the college, listens to their grievances and assures them of early redressal of all.

“Oma led government is giving priority to health and education sector and are working to fulfill the gaps in these sectors so that people will not suffer more”
