Centre-UT Power Struggle Has Crushed Governance in J&K: JKNPF President Muneer Khan Blasts Administration for Betraying the People

Srinagar,jul,03,2025:-
The Jammu & Kashmir National People's Front (JKNPF) has launched a scathing attack on the current administration, accusing it of gross misgovernance and failing the people of the Union Territory. In a strongly worded statement, JKNPF President Muneer Khan said that the ongoing power tussle between the Central Government and the Union Territory administration has rendered governance ineffective, leaving the common man abandoned and betrayed.

Expressing deep concern over the state of affairs, Khan highlighted the plight of thousands of young entrepreneurs who, despite completing all formalities and obtaining approvals from the Industrial Department, have been waiting for land allotments for over nine months. “The administration’s excuse — that there are no financial resources — is not only laughable but also exposes the hollowness of the so-called development narrative being promoted in political speeches. This is nothing short of criminal negligence. One cannot claim to empower the youth while simultaneously obstructing their future,” he said.

Khan also drew attention to the deteriorating condition of educational institutions across the Union Territory. “Most colleges in Jammu & Kashmir are functioning without basic facilities or adequate teaching staff. There is no vision, no roadmap. Students are suffering in silence while the government continues to paint a false picture of normalcy. The reality is far worse than what is being projected,” he added.

He emphasized that this failure is not restricted to one sector but cuts across all departments. “Be it health, employment, infrastructure, or education — every system is in a state of paralysis. This administration is only interested in headlines and photo opportunities. There is no accountability, no planning, and no genuine intent to deliver. The people of Jammu & Kashmir have been left at the mercy of an indifferent regime,” Khan asserted.

Calling for urgent corrective measures, Khan urged the government to either take immediate action or stop misleading the public with hollow announcements. “If you cannot govern, then stop pretending. Let those who truly care about the people take charge. The patience of the people is not limitless, and the youth of J&K will not remain silent for long,” he warned.

JKNPF reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to stand with the people of Jammu & Kashmir and to raise their voice against this ongoing injustice at every available platform.
