Ya Hussain (AS) 🏴

Karbala is one of the holiest cities for Shia Muslims, located in present-day Iraq, about 100 km southwest of بغداد Baghdad

The city became eternally sacred after the tragedy of Karbala in 61 AH (680 CE), where Imam Hussain (AS), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, and his loyal companions were martyred on the plains of Karbala.

Karbala is the land of sacrifice, patience, and truth. Millions of pilgrims visit Karbala every year, especially during:

Muharram

Ashura (10 Muharram)

Arbaeen gatherings. one of the world's largest peaceful

The soil of Karbala is remembered with tears because it witnessed hunger, thirst, loyalty, bravery, and the ultimate sacrifice for Islam.

وانا امامي علي اجمل لوحه في كربلاء
يُعتبر عيد الغدير الأغر، أو ما يُعرف في العقيدة

الشيعية بـ«عيد الله الأكبر»، أحد أعظم المناسبات الدينية وأعمقها أثراً، ويصادف في الثامن عشر من شهر ذي الحجة من كل عام هجري. تعود جذور هذا اليوم إلى السنة العاشرة للهجرة، في حجة الوداع، حيث جمع النبي محمد (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم المسلمين في موضع «غدير خم» أثناء عودتهم من مكة، وأعلن ـ بأمر إلهي - تنصيب الإمام علي بن أبي طالب (عليه السلام) خليفة وإماماً ووصياً من بعده، من خلال خطبته الشهيرة التي قال فيها: من كنت مولاه فهذا علي مولاه

ويرتبط هذا الحدث عقائدياً بنزول الآية الكريمة: اليوم أكملت لكم دينكم وأتممت عليكم نعمتي، حيث يرى الشيعة أن كمال الدين وإتمام النعمة قد تحققا بإعلان الولاية وإمامة أهل البيت (عليهم السلام).

ويُحيي الشيعة حول العالم هذه المناسبة بأجواء من البهجة والفرح، تشمل تجديد البيعة والولاء لأمير المؤمنين وإقامة المحافل الدينية والشعرية، وتبادل التهاني وعقد المؤاخاة، بالإضافة إلى طقوس الإطعام والعبادات

رحلة الإمام الحسين من مكة إلى كربلاء | الطريق الذي خلد أعظم ملحمة في التاريخ

في سنة 60 للهجرة، خرج الإمام الحسين عليه السلام من مكة المكرمة متوجهاً نحو كربلاء، في رحلة لم تكن مجرد سفر عبر الصحراء، بل مسيراً للحق والكرامة والحرية.

كانت القافلة تسير بثبات، تاركةً مكة خلفها، ومتجهة نحو المصير الذي سيغير مجرى التاريخ الإسلامي إلى الأبد.

مرت قافلة الإمام الحسين عليه السلام بعدة مناطق ومحطات تاريخية، منها:

التنعيم الصفاح، ذات عرق، وادي العقيق، غمرة، معدن النقرة، الحاجر، زرود، الخزيمية الثعلبية زبالة، القادسية شراف ذي حسم نينوى الغاضرية ... حتى انتهى المسير إلى أرض كربلاء.

وفي كل محطة، كانت تتجلى معاني الصبر والثبات والإيمان بينما كانت القافلة تواجه ظروف الصحراء القاسية، وتحمل معها راية الحق في مواجهة الظلم والطغيان.

لم تكن هذه الرحلة مجرد طريق بين مدينتين، بل كانت بداية أعظم ملحمة خالدة في التاريخ، ملحمة كربلاء التي بقيت رمزاً للتضحية والفداء والوقوف بوجه الظلم مهما كان الثمن.

وفي العاشر من محرم وصلت القافلة إلى كربلاء، حيث سطر الإمام الحسين وأهل بيته وأصحابه أروع صور البطولة والإيمان، لتبقى ذكراهم حية في قلوب الملايين عبر العصور.

In the heart of Holy Karbala, specifically in 1966, a voice was born that became the most iconic symbol in Hussaini history. Basim Al-Karbalaei was not just a chanter; he was a project for a vocal epic that began in Karbala's old alleys, drawing inspiration from the legendary "Hamza Al-Zagheer" and mastering the foundations of the sacred pulpit.

From Karbala to Exile:

The journey began in childhood within Karbalaei processions. However, in 1980, due to harsh political circumstances, Basim and his family moved to Iran (Isfahan). There, he began a phase of academic refinement, studying the Quran and Tajweed under great masters, which gave his voice the strength to master the most difficult melodies.

The 1990s: Global Fame:

His true fame launched in the early 90s from the Sultanate of Oman. He collaborated with great poets, led by (Jaber Al-Kazemi), forming a duo that transformed the Hussaini poem from traditional styles to modern emotional themes that deeply touch the human soul and spirit.

Vocal Engineering and Legacy:

Just as a skyscraper is built in layers, Basim built his glory with vocal layers (bass and treble) that amazed listeners. Blending authentic Iraqi modes with modern arrangements, masterpieces like "Khattar Ijani" and "Tamannayt" became eternal pillars, crowning him as the "Sultan of the Pulpit" with thousands of poems.
The Return and Immortality:

After decades of exile, Basim returned to Iraq as a global symbol of willpower. The story of Basim Al-Karbalaei is a human epic written with patience and sincerity, proving that the voice from Karbala never ages, and the dream that started in those old alleys has now embraced the skies of immortality.
