📝Three alarming developments in Jammu & Kashmir on September 5, 2025, highlight a troubling pattern of provocation and insensitivity. Is the BJP engineering communal tensions in J&K to gain electoral mileage in the upcoming Bihar elections? Lets see
1. Explosive Report on Graves .
A new study by the Save Youth Save Future Foundation (SYSF) examined 4,056 graves in districts like Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora, and Ganderbal. It claims 93.2% are of foreign (mostly Pakistani) and local terrorists killed post-2019 . Nefariously crafted and also suspiciously timed to inflame sentiments. (Here are the reports that taint Kashmiris as terrorists or terror sympathisers and you ban books that are meant for academic understanding . Sad ! )
2. Utter Disregard for Eid Milad-un-Nabi: Despite confirmed moon sightings placing Eid Milad-un-Nabi on September 6, the J&K administration refused to shift the holiday from September 5, ignoring requests from religious leaders and the community. You are simply hurting Muslim sentiments for year on year. Why ignore the lunar calendar's essence? alienating the Valley and generating divisive headlines.
3.Idol/Emblem Installation at Hazratbal Shrine.
During an inauguration at the revered Hazratbal Shrine, an idol or emblem was reportedly installed, directly contravening Islamic edicts against such symbols in places of worship. When locals voiced resentment, authorities threatened to impose the Public Safety Act (PSA) in an Orwellian clampdown on dissent. This act not only desecrates a sacred site but stifles free expression, escalating tensions unnecessarily.
What's really going on? Post-2019 abrogation of Article 370, the BJP touted J&K as "fully integrated" into India. Yet, it feels more like a political laboratory—where engineered communal drama is projected nationwide to polarize voters and secure wins in states like Bihar, with assembly elections slated for later in 2025. These incidents aren't coincidences; they're tools for electoral capitalization, prioritizing power over peace. This is an utter disgrace that you are treating J&K as a vote-bank experiment rather than a truly integral part.
My dear country India represented by BJP at the centre , it's time to demand better: Genuine integration, not exploitation!
