All MLAs were allotted two NABARD-funded projects per constituency to ensure balanced development across all areas. Unfortunately, in Zainapora, both projects have reportedly been given in Chitragam, the MLA’s native village.

This raises a serious question:
Is public money meant for entire constituencies or for his native village.

Public money is not private property.
It must be used with accountability and justice for all, not favoritism.

I repeatedly tried to contact the MLA Zainapora, Showket Ganie, but unfortunately he did not respond. At that critical time, we had three lady patients in our village who urgently needed help.

This silence and non-responsiveness in an hour of need is deeply disappointing. When elected representatives fail to stand with the people during emergencies, it raises serious questions about accountability and responsibility.

Today, many of us feel that our trust and our vote have been wasted. Public representatives must remember that their foremost duty is to serve the people—especially in times of distress.

Long queues of Tata mobile trucks loaded with apple fruit can be seen waiting outside the Cold Storage units at Lassipora. Unfortunately, the mismanagement by these cold store units has created chaos on the roads, blocking movement and causing huge inconvenience to the public. Shockingly, these units are even shutting down operations for three days a week, adding to the crisis.
Such delays and poor handling not only disrupt traffic but also cause massive losses to growers and traders who depend on timely clearance of their produce. It’s high time the concerned authorities intervene and ensure smooth functioning, transparency, and accountability from these units.

Ayush Dispensary at Babapora?

The proposal was already finalized for Babapora, but now we are hearing from reliable sources that the dispensary has been shifted to Chitragam, the native village of MLA Showket Ganie.
If true, this is a blatant injustice with the people of Babapora. Public health institutions must be established on merit and requirement of the area, not for political favoritism or personal convenience.
The authorities must clarify immediately — why has the sanctioned dispensary for Babapora been shifted elsewhere?
