Congratulations on your political talent - defeating a veteran like Ramen Deka in 2019 to secure the Mangaldai Lok Sabha ticket surely took skill. But political skill does not always translate into wisdom in words. We heard your remarks on the Tribal Belts & Blocks and the 6th Schedule - and trust me, we understood them perfectly well.

Instead of offering a simple, dignified apology for hurting tribal sentiments and attempting to dilute tribal rights, you chose the classic blame game : “I’ve been misquoted.” Saheb, with all due respect, blaming the messenger doesn’t change the message.

Be grateful to Bodo leadership : Even though the BTC Accord is primarily for the Bodo people, has extended its benefits to all - regardless of caste, creed, religion or language. In our Tribal Belts and Blocks, many non - tribal Hindus have found a way to become “legally illegal,” yet we have not opposed them, because we believe in coexistence.

So here’s my challenge : before lecturing the tribal people of Assam, kindly define once and for all - Who exactly are the Khilonjiyas of Assam? Who exactly is an Assamese??

In Bodoland, no one is a second - class citizen as wrongly claimed by CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Assam State BJP President Dilip Saikia. Their attempt to divide us for political gain by spreading hatred and misinformation will not succeed. Here in Bodoland, people enjoy dual representation from both the BTC Assembly and the Assam Legislative Assembly - a unique benefit we should all be proud of.

Let us stay united and protect our identity, culture, and constitutional rights. ✊🏾

Bodo + Miya = Bhai Bhai

They used the Miyas against the Bodos to weaken our struggle for self - determination and to some extent, they succeeded. Now, they are trying to use the Bodos against the Miyas to fulfill their so - called concept of “Brihottor Oxomiya Jati.” But the Bodos are not responding. So, they’ve resorted to their dirty game of spreading hatred among non - tribal people against the Sixth Schedule, Tribal Belts and Blocks.

Dear people of Bodoland - including the Chief Minister and Dilip Saikia, all those BJP leaders who are trying to divide us are outsiders to Bodoland. Don’t fall into their trap. We are receiving dual benefits in Bodoland - from the State Assembly and the Bodoland Territorial Council Assembly. They want to sn**ch away our rights. Beware of the dirty politics of those who come from outside Bodoland. We must live here peacefully, in harmony.....

They want all of us (the Tribals, the Muslims, the Christians, the Adivasis (Santhals and Tea Tribes), the Rajbongshis) to always remain second - class citizens in Assam and serve them like servants.
