اَللّٰھُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِفُلَانٍ وَّارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَہٗ فِی الْمَھْدِیِّیْنَ وَاخْلُفْہُ فِیْ عَقِبِہٖ فِی الْغَابِرِیْنَ، وَاغْفِرْلَنَا وَلَہٗ یَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ وَافْسَحْ لَہٗ فِیْ قَبْرِہٖ وَنَوِّرْ لَہٗ

’’اے اللہ! فلاں شخص کو معاف فرما اور ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں میں اس کا درجہ بلند فرما اور اس کے بعد اس کے پیچھے رہ جانے والوں میں اس کا جانشین بنا اور ہمیں اور اسے معاف فرما اے رب العالمین! اور اس کے لیے اس کی قبر میں کشادگی فرما اور اس کے لیے اس میں روشنی کردے۔‘‘
