Zero LOC Suchetgarh border post, located near R.S. Pura in Jammu, holds historical significance as a pre-partition railway link between Jammu and Sialkot. Once an octroi post, it now serves as a key border crossing and a growing tourist destination.
The "Beating Retreat" ceremony, similar to the Wagah border, showcases military precision and patriotism, drawing visitors to witness the spectacle. The post also features the Amar Prahari Sthal, a memorial honoring fallen BSF soldiers, and a museum displaying historical photographs and stories of gallantry.
Despite recent temporary closures due to security concerns, Suchetgarh is being developed to enhance tourism, offering a unique glimpse into the border

Budha Amarnath Ki Katha | Budha Amarnath Yatra | Baba Amarnath Yatra | अमरनाथ यात्रा

The Budha Amarnath Ji Temple, located in the Mandi area of Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir, is one of the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is believed to be much older than the famous Amarnath Cave in Kashmir, which is why it is called Budha Amarnath (meaning “Old Amarnath”). The shrine holds a special place in Hindu mythology, as it is said that Lord Shiva stayed here briefly while en route to Amarnath Cave to share the secret of immortality with Goddess Parvati.

The temple is unique as it is situated at the foothills rather than in a cave. Unlike the Amarnath Shivling, which forms naturally from ice, the Budha Amarnath Shivling is made of white stone and represents Swayambhu Shivling (self-manifested).

The Budha Amarnath Temple is approximately 25 km from Poonch town and about 250 km from Jammu and is easily accessible by road.

जय माता दी
उत्तर भारत का बहुत प्रसिद्ध श्री देवी तालाब मंदिर जालंधर का एक प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक स्थल है। यह पंजाब का एकमात्र शक्तिपीठ है । यह माता के 51 शक्ति पीठों में से एक है। यह मंदिर उस जगह पर बनाया गया है, जहां पर देवी सती का अंग गिर गया था। 200 साल पुराना यह मंदिर देवी दुर्गा को समर्पित है । इसमें एक तालाब है, जो हिंदुओं द्वारा पवित्र माना जाता है। इस मंदिर के निकट में काली देवी को समर्पित एक मंदिर है। माता वैष्णो देवी का मंदिर और अमरनाथ की गुफा यहाँ की मुख्य अट्रैक्शन है|

Gurudwara Talhan Sahib | Baba Nihal Singh Gurudwara Jalandhar Address |

Gurudwara Baba Nihal Singh Ji which is also famous by the name Gurudwara Talhan Sahib is situated at village Talhan in Jalandhar district of Punjab. This place is about 12 Kms away from Jalandhar city and 14 Kms from Phagwara. One can go to this Gurudwara from Phagwara as well as from Jalandhar by using G.T.Road.

The myth about this place is that whosoever comes here with clear heart and regards for Babaji gets all their wishes fulfilled. Many of the couples who were deprived of the fruit of children were offered of this Prasad at this place by the blessings of Babaji. The blessings in the shape of money flows to the devotees who arrive here with the prayers. However, all these blessings are offered to the devotees who are pure or who promises to lead a pure life on the directions given by Babaji. The directions of Babaji are Krit Karo (do your work), Wand Chako (share your earnings with those less fortunate) and Nam Japo (Recite the name of God). Sewa, the concept of service was the basic motto of Babaji.
