Healthy snacks can sometimes be surprisingly high in calories.
A handful of nuts, a protein bar, an energy ball, or a "healthy" cookie may seem harmless. But let's be honest... who stops at just one? Most people end up having two or more, and those calories add up quickly.
On the other hand, a simple homemade meal is usually far more filling. It keeps you satisfied for longer and makes it much easier to stay within your daily calorie budget.
The takeaway? Don't judge food by the "healthy" label alone. Healthy doesn't automatically mean low calorie.
Always be aware of what you're eating and how much you're eating. Mindful eating beats mindless snacking every time.
Save this for the next time you're tempted to reach for a "healthy" snack!
