दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के कर्मचारियों ने अपनी मांगों को लेकर संयुक्त मोर्चे के बैनर तले 21 अगस्त को वरुणालय भवन पर प्रदर्शन किया। कर्मचारियों ने नियमितीकरण, कैशलेस मेडिकल सुविधा, मृत कर्मचारियों के आश्रितों को नौकरी देने और आउटसोर्सिंग के विरोध में आवाज़ उठाई। आखिर कर्मचारियों की प्रमुख मांगें क्या हैं और वे सरकार से क्या चाहते हैं? सुनिए कर्मचारियों और यूनियन नेताओं की जुबानी।

यूपी:4 मेडिकल कॉलेजों में 70% आरक्षण खत्म क्यों? एसएफआई ने सरकार के खिलाफ खोला मोर्चा

उत्तर प्रदेश के सहारनपुर, कन्नौज, जालौन और अंबेडकर नगर के चार मेडिकल कॉलेज एससीपी और टीएसपी के तहत बनाए गए थे, जहां एससी-एसटी छात्रों के लिए 70% आरक्षण की व्यवस्था थी। अब इसे घटाकर एससी के लिए 21% और एसटी के लिए 2% यानी कुल 23% किए जाने का मामला सामने आया है। स मुद्दे पर एसएफआई छात्रों के साथ आंदोलन कर रहा है। इस बातचीत में एसएफआई उत्तर प्रदेश अध्यक्ष पार्थ सारथी ने पूरे मामले, सामाजिक न्याय पर इसके असर, सरकार की भूमिका और आंदोलन की आगे की रणनीति पर विस्तार से बात की। छात्रों की मांग है कि अदालत में मामला लंबित रहने तक 70% आरक्षण की पुरानी व्यवस्था जारी रखी जाए और इसे कानूनी सुरक्षा देने के लिए अध्यादेश लाकर कानून बनाया जाए।
