उधमपुर ज़िले के गांव बसनोत तहसील मौंगरी से आत्महत्या का एक मामला सामने आया है। यह मामला बीती शाम का है जब तारो देवी पत्नी बलबीर सिंह निवासी बसनोत तहसील मौंगरी का शव संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में पेड़ से लटकता पाया गया। इसके बाद शव को पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए एसोसिएटेड जीएमसी उधमपुर लाया गया। पुलिस ने मामले की आगे की जाँच शुरू कर दी है।

जम्मू कश्मीर राष्ट्र राजमार्ग पर उधमपुर के नरसू नाला के पास पेश आया सड़क हादसा, हादसे मे पांच लोग घायल प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार एक मारुति ऑल्टो कार (पंजीकरण संख्या JK06A 1529) उधमपुर से चेनानी की ओर गलत दिशा से जा रही थी और एक ट्रक (पंजीकरण संख्या JK13F 4252) से टकरा गई, जो सही लेन में ढलान से नीचे आ रहा था।
कार में पाँच लोग सवार थे, जिनमें से सभी गंभीर रूप से घायल हो हादसे की जानकारी मिलते ही तुरंत पुलिस व सीआरपीएफ के जवान मौके पर पहुंचे जिन द्वारा घायलों को उपचार के लिए जीएमसी उधमपुर भेजा गया जिनका जीएमसी उधमपुर में उपचार जारी है वहीं पुलिस द्वारा मामला दर्ज कर आगे की कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी गई है..

*THEFT CASE SOLVED: STOLEN JEWELLERY WORTH ₹1 LAKH RECOVERED, TWO HELD BY UDHAMPUR POLICE*

Udhampur Police have successfully solved a theft case reported on 03/07/2007 by one Karnail Chand S/O Shiv Ram R/O Incha, Tehsil Ramnagar, who had reported theft and ransacking of his house during his absence.

Acting swiftly, a case was registered at Police Station Ramnagar and investigation was taken up. During the course of investigation, the Police team of PS Ramnagar rounded up several suspects for questioning. Two of the suspects, confessed to the crime during sustained interrogation/questioning. Both accused were identified as:-

1. Sanjay Kumar S/O Bhagat Kumar R/O Chakal, Tehsil Basantgarh (presently residing at Jakhani, Tehsil & District Udhampur)

2. Kaushaliya Devi W/O Romesh Singh R/O Marta, Tehsil Ramnagar

Based on their disclosure, the Police team successfully recovered the entire stolen jewellery worth approximately ₹1,00,000 from the possession of the accused.

नगर परिषद उधमपुर के सफाई कर्मचारी पिछले 10 दिन से लगातार अपनी लंबित पड़ी मांगों को लेकर काम छोड़ो हड़ताल पर है जिस वजह से लगातार शहर में कचरे के बड़े-बड़े ढेर लग रहे हैं वही आज भी सफाई कर्मचारियों द्वारा अपनी मांगों को लेकर जमकर धरना प्रदर्शन किया गया इस अवसर पर व्यापार मंडल उधमपुर भी सफाई कर्मचारियों के समर्थन में पहुंचा व्यापार मंडल ने साफ तौर पर सरकार को चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि जल्द से जल्द सफाई कर्मचारी यूनियन की जायज मांगों को पूरा किया जाए अन्यथा आने वाले दिनों में वह भी बाजार बंद करके उनके समर्थन में प्रदर्शन करेंगे..

*Bovine smuggling attempt foiled, 09 Bovines Rescued, in Latti by District Police Udhampur*

Police team of Police Station Latti led by its SHO have foiled one bovine smuggling bid in which 09 bovines were rescued which were being illegally transported on foot towards Kashmir Valley without any valid permission. Bovine Smugglers fled away from the spot.

All the bovines were rescued and have been shifted to a safer place.

In this regard, case FIR No. 11/2025 under relevant sections of law stand registered at Police Station Latti.

Further investigation of the case is underway Jkp MediacentrePhq Zonal Police Media Centre Jammu Udhampur Reasi Range Police Media Centre, PHQ, J&K Police.
