*Udhampur Police Attaches Property Worth ₹12.75 Lakhs Belonging to Drug Peddler Rahul Sharma of Kidmoo, Ramnagar*

Udhampur:

In a major action under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Udhampur Police has attached moveable property worth approximately ₹12.75 lakhs belonging to drug peddler Rahul Sharma S/O Yog Raj R/O Village Kidmoo, Ramnagar, under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act.

The attached/seized property includes:

*Two Cars valued approximately ₹12,75,000/-*

The attachment order was issued by the investigating officer as part of ongoing proceedings under the NDPS Act.

GDC Nowshera organises Class Representative Elections.
On 12th October 2025, GDC Nowshera held Class Representative (CR) elections under the guidance and supervision of our worthy principal sir, Dr. Shamim Ahmad Azad, and coordination by the Convener of the College Election Committee, Prof. Mukesh Sharma. A total of 40 students were elected as CRs – 10 from Semester 1, 14 from Semester 3, and 16 from Semester 5.
After the CRs were elected, further elections were held among them to choose the Head Boy and Head Girl. Mr. Rishi Raj Sharma from Semester 3 was elected as the Head Boy, and Ms. Shagun Sharma from Semester 5 was elected as the Head Girl.
Security for the event was provided by the Station House Officer (SHO) Nowshera, as requested. The entire process was smooth and well-organized. Such activities play an important role in promoting leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility among the students
