Who gave anyone the authority to tear apart a national highway built and maintained for the benefit of the public? While government and highway construction agencies are investing time, resources, and effort to improve connectivity, Kukis have chosen destruction over development.

The destruction of NH-202 at Shangkai Kuki village through the use of excavators is not an act of protest - it is an act of sabotage against the very people who depend on this road every day. NH-202 is the lifeline of Ukhrul. It connects communities, enables trade, provides access to healthcare, education, and essential services.

The authorities must identify those responsible and take strict legal action. Public infrastructure cannot be held hostage by anyone.

Heavily armed Kuki militants fired at vehicles under Central Security Force es**rt between Yaolen and Mongkot Chetpu. A truck driver lost his life instantly, and one police personnel is battling critical injuries.
The Kuki attackers showed no fear even in front of security es**rts. We demand immediate military action and justice for the victims, and for the safety of the Tangkhul Nagas villagers in the area.

When militants can attack openly in front of Central forces, serious questions must be asked:
Who is protecting the people of Manipur? More importantly, is the Central and State government waiting for more Tangkhul Nagas to die at the hands of the Kuki Militants??

How many more innocent lives must be lost before strict action is taken against the Kuki militants terrorizing Manipur?

Tony, not every microphone is an invitation to speak on matters you havenโ€™t studied. Learn first, speak later. You shouldnโ€™t be using interviews to push baseless opinions. The most responsible thing you can do is remain silent rather than rant. Uninformed commentary can escalate tensions, spread misinformation, and disrespect those who have actually lived through these conflicts.
