It has been reported that the fighting between the revolutionary forces and the joint military council group continues to be fierce in the villages of Kyun Pintha and Mintha Ywa near the India-Myanmar border town of Tamu. Along with the Military Council's Khlara-228 Battalion, the Military Council's joint organizations such as the Naga National Socialist Council NSCN IM.
The Kuki National Army KNA-B and Tamu District Revolutionary Forces are attacking the camps of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), which is a separatist group of India, and the fighting continues fiercely, the Kuki National Army KNA-B told Naga News.
The battle was on January 27. It started at 4 o'clock in the morning. The fighting is still intense. Kuki National Army KNA-B replied that there are dead ends in the battle, and the exact list of dead ends is not yet known.
"The battle started at 4 o'clock in the morning on the 27th. With the armed forces of PLA/UNLF and NSCN-IM led by Tangkhul, which is a separatist rebel group of India. The battle is not over yet. It's still going strong. There are casualties on both sides. The exact list is not yet known. We are fighting because we don't want a dictator. We are not obligated to fight any armed forces that cooperate with that dictator and torture the people. For example. UNLF/PLA, NSCN IM, SNA etc. We are not fighting the nation. However, if any ethnic armed group becomes a war body, that organization is a public disaster. The enemy of the people is our enemy," he said.
Naga News has contacted the NSCN-IM about the status of the fight, but has yet to receive a reply.
