SHORT BIOGRAPHY

🌼 Remembering Binni Yanga 🌼
Some lives shine quietly… yet leave a light that never fades.

Binni Yanga, born on 7 July 1958, devoted her entire life to empowering girls and women in Arunachal Pradesh. From creating education centers and shelter homes to offering jobs to hundreds through Oju Craft Centre—she turned compassion into action every single day.

Even after being diagnosed with cervical cancer, she never stopped serving others. Her strength was gentle, her heart unstoppable.

She left us on 3 September 2015, but her legacy still breathes in every life she touched.

💛 A true hero. A true inspiration.
Her kindness will always be remembered.

In Arunachal Pradesh, and especially within our proud Nyishi community, we stand together with one purpose.
For generations, countless stories, traditions, and histories have remained hidden — unheard and unrecognized. These are not just stories; they are the heartbeat of our identity, the soul of our people.

Today, we rise as a collective.
We come forward with a shared mission:
to bring our true history into the light.
Because our ancestors walked a path of courage, wisdom, and sacrifice — and their journey deserves to be honoured, preserved, and celebrated.

This movement is not only about remembering the past —
it is about shaping the future.
When we protect our roots, we give strength to our children.
When we honour our heritage, we empower the next generation.
Our youth must know where they come from, so they can proudly decide where they will go.

As a community, we make this promise:

Together, we will protect our legacy.

Together, we will write the history that was never written.

Together, we will ensure that the voice of the Nyishi people is heard — loud, proud, and eternal.

This is our united journey.
This is our community’s mission.
This is the Nyishi spirit — forever strong.
