That's right, Email marketing is one of the oldest and still used practices to get paying clients to any business. No matter what product you are selling you need to have an email list. So start collecting them. 😃
If your business is not utilizing the features that come with Email Marketing, you are only wasting your precious time.
Emails can vary from good to bad, having the right clients' emails can grow your business 10 fold. Not everybody opens emails in their inbox, 2-10% open rate can be guaranteed to make sales.

‘‘My Facebook Ads leads don't convert!’’ - Ever felt disappointed hearing these words? 🙄
Let’s go over some of the mistakes people make when they are running ads and not lose money on dead leads!
✴️ Not using the right strategy in targeting
Are you going to sell a house to a guy who will never move to the area? Or sell a sports car to a person who doesn't spend much? Unless you are promoting something that everybody wants or uses, don’t try running ads without the right targeting. Not everybody wants to buy your services.
✴️ Not using Videos
Video ads pave the way for the promoter to give a moment of their time to the audience and help them understand their pains and goals. A Video should be strategically made to suit your target audience. Running Awareness or Engagement Campaigns to get video views would be an ideal way to start.
We can then concentrate on retargeting those individuals who have watched the video to a certain level, say 50%. The leads we acquire from these ads have a better chance to convert.
✴️ Promoting your product right in the beginning!
Selling directly to the audience by speaking ‘My product which I created, is going to do this for you; will get your money just fly to Facebook Revenue Department without any results.
You have to speak about the audience's pain points, provide value to them, and how it can solve their problems. Only then will they consider subscribing and becoming a proper lead.
✴️ Not having a Funnel or Landing Page
A lot of advertisers will say you can do ads without landing pages or just use a lead form. Of course, you can, but how much value can you showcase on the copy or creative? How can you educate them about the features, benefits, results, previous client testimonials, about you, your mission, product pricing, upsells, your team, groups & others? Unless the audience knows about you & your work or you are a big brand like Nike; you are just going to get dead leads.
✴️ Lack of Authority
Just because you started advertising doesn’t mean people trust you. They will start scrolling through your profiles and pages, about your business and brand. You can't get rich overnight, it’s going to take a while to grow your reputation and your sphere of influence, especially in Real-Estate. If they don’t find you trustful, they would ignore your calls or messages even if they signup. That is why most leads tell they never filled a form on your page.
✴️ Using the same ads and sales pages
Showing the same ads again and again, can cause Ad fatigue. Showcase different ads on a regular basis to induce the visitors to sign up. Better to stick with a 7 to 30 Day Ad Frequency so people who are uninterested will be stopped from targeting.
Split testing different Sales Pages for engaged visitors can help to convert them better as it provides more discounts, offers, value, results & testimonies.
✴️ Not using Lookalike audiences:
Your old clients have more possibility of buying from you. Similarly, Lookalike audiences have a better chance of becoming leads similar to people who have become your old clients. This can be created based on Video views, website visitors, email lists, or people who brought previously from you.

How to Get Extra Conversions!!🔥

Getting frequent conversions on Facebook may be overwhelming especially since Facebook Algorithm has changed!

Not everyone will see posts daily as Facebook doesn’t show them to people who don’t interact much including group & page posts as they think that they are not interested & thereby making all those followers useless. That doesn’t mean they won’t be interested in that product at a later stage. 😐

Especially people with low budget using organic methods or with advertising we may see figures declining due to this. A Good Conversion rate is the only way to maintain a Good ROI.

So in order to get people to see our posts or ads properly and interact at the very beginning itself, make sure to follow these guidelines:

✔ Keep the Destination in Mind
Ad is good only if the landing page delivers. Make sure the place where the conversion needs to take place is kept in order. The sales page should be as clear and concise as the ads and deliver the customer the ease of purchase.

Unwanted distractions will make the visitor lose interest. A pixel can make the customer journey more reliable so that we can retarget visitors who did not check out.

✔ Define your Conversion Event
Types of Conversions supported by Facebook include View Content, Leads, Initiate Checkout, Purchase & more. We can also create other customer conversion events if we have other goals in mind.

Test different ads to see what works for example, conversion or traffic ads for each of these goals. Make sure to check detailed targeting suggestion.

✔ Use Simple Copywriting
Copywriting is not high end literature. Maybe you were a poet back in College, but that does not has to be considered at the moment when advertising.

So the best thing to consider is write as if a 5th grader is looking at your Ad 🤭

When a person sees your ad they must be able to understand:
- What you are offering?
- How it benefits them?
- What to do next?

Example: Good News! When you Refi student loans at lower rate so you can pay it off sooner or Buy 1 Get 1 Free on all products in store today only.

✔ Use eye catching Visuals
It takes less than 2.6 seconds for a user’s eye to choose where to land on a webpage. The image has to represent what you are delivering in seconds, as most impressions are informed by design.

So treat visual like you would a handshake. Also
- Don’t overload images with so much text. Rather consider moving copy to the text area.
- Use good quality visuals, make sure to check the right image specifications so that it doesn’t reflect badly on your brand.
- Use Gifs or videos instead of images and test different vertical videos for mobile devices

✔ Use the Right ad Format
A proper ad format can tell the difference to all customers. For example using of model video ad with collection feature for the product like hoodies so as to sell different features of the same products like bags and shoes.

✔ Have a direct Call to Action!
Always stick to your goal! You may be trying to create brand awareness, get leads or sell a product, it is essential to have a clear call to action.

This is to make sure they understand the purpose of the ad to the user and Facebook. For example use Shop Now for selling a phone case, Learn More to attract leads and traffic or Get Offer for a discount.

STRATEGIES YOU SHOULD CONSIDER WHILE ADVERTISING ON FACEBOOK FOR CLIENTS!
Understand some of the best techniques that have enabled me to bring in Great Sales and ROAS 🚀...
✅ Optimize your Ads for Conversions and not Traffic
If the final goal of your strategy is to get sales, you will need to set the objective of the campaign to ‘Optimize for Purchase’. This needs to be the goal after you have told your audience about your brand, have engaged with them in prior engagement, video views, or other traffic methods. This way while using conversion campaigns Facebook will be showing the ad to people who are most likely to buy your course.
✅ Use Retargeting
Retargeting is necessary for those who engaged with our ads. Just target those individuals who left different pages of the funnel, for example; Landing Page, Sales Page, Add to Cart, Checkout Page, FB or Insta Page Engagers, Post Engagers, Video Viewers, and so on. We can grant discounts, offers, freebies, and other awesome techniques to make them purchase only from you.
✅ Start to Target Lookalike Audiences👥
Once you are done with setting up events, we will get all data of page views, purchases, and more. Using this information you can target lookalike audiences who would buy from you. It's better to test 1 to 5% of Add to Cart or Buyer's Lookalike Audience in different adsets so as to increase your CTR and Conversion rates.
✅ Split Campaign into multiple Small Sets 🔥
When your campaign is targeting more segments like interest, gender, age, city, it’s better to split them into smaller targets in order to find out which one drives better results. This will enable us to find the right audience that brings better ROAS or Cost per conversion. Although this may be expensive in the first round we can get precise at our targeting and not waste budget unwantedly with broad targeting.
So for instance, we target men and women who would buy the course in US and Canada who are interested in entrepreneurship or similar, you will need to break your ad sets into the following
• Men, 18–45, US, Audience 1
• Women, 18-45, US, Audience 1
• Men, 18-45, Canada, Audience 1
• Women, 18-45, Canada, Audience 1
• Men, 18–45, US, Audience 2, and so on.
✅ Using Multiple types of Creatives
Once set with Audiences now it’s time to choose the best techniques available on Facebook to showcase your course. You can use Video, images, or even a carousel. This will help increase CTR and conversions from these campaigns on each of them.
✅ Scaling the Ads 💪
We now have to enter the Scaling phase by taking all best-performing ad sets if you have multiple campaigns and grouping them into one CBO campaign and increasing the budget. But make sure to split up the campaigns based on – Lookalike, Retargeting, and Best performing audiences.
Once we are seeing results we can increase the budget by 20 – 30%. After 3 to 4 days if we are seeing good ROAS, consider duplicating the campaign more times and target different areas, cities, or countries where you would like to market your course so you can make even better sales.

What are the reasons that your Ad is not getting any results? 🤷‍♂️
Most individuals and business owners tend to create advertising themselves that does not get them any results. I have written down some of them:
1. Your strategy is not that great 😐

Surely you were making the ad too fast and have not developed a proper strategy for selling, you may be looking into a cold audience or you have the wrong target customer in mind. You will need to understand your dream client avatar before you can start running ads, set a clear strategy on who and what their pains are in the ads so they will have to take action.
2. You target the wrong audience:

When running ads it is essential to choose the right audience. Just because they are 18 to 60 years old doesn’t mean they will buy your product. You need to be niche specific and You need to concentrate only on people who have taken a prior interest in your's or competitor's products or similar. 🤔
3. Spending required money:

Optimizing your ads is very essential to make them get good results. Always engage with a good amount on the campaign in CBO or ABO to start reaching a required audience as most of the factors depends on the bidding. 🙂
Scaling should be done slowly only when ads have gotten some results. Increasing Ad spending will result in increased Call to action or Conversion Costs. So do not put all the money upfront on the cold audience.
4. You will need to give more time:

For the Ads to start working and giving results it will take time. Have a few eye-grabbing Ad variations so that people can take an interest to click. Facebook needs time to learn the ad copy so that it can be delivered to the right people. Retargeting the people who visited the website will help the interested people to take action. 😃
5. Bad Research:

Starting advertising with what you know is not enough to get the desired results. Unless you are rich and able to put a lot of money on the table it would be better to work on your research. Building ads on the basis of your competitors can give you an edge on running the right advertisements. You can do this by checking their page's ad library.🙄
6. Bad Landing Page

Getting 1 or 2 conversions or leads will be possible one way or the other, but will that be enough for our business to thrive. Customers need to go through a journey so that they can understand and feel they are buying from the right person, then they will buy again and again from the same person. Similar to any shoe brand, that we keep buying from Eg: Adidas, Nike.
This will enable us to reduce ad spends and create fewer ads in the future.🔥

This was what the client had said during our conversation. He had tried advertising & received only a few clicks or leads. 😐
It’s possible that when doing advertising, individuals tend to go with any audience and ads they think are best, and just not get the desired results.
So I asked him “Have you defined your Ideal Client Avatar to get the desired results?
He told his clients consisted of people in his country, Age 18 to 40, and those that are interested in his services.
And then I told him, “This won’t give the results he is looking for”.
We need to understand more about our clients than just basic details like age, location, and interests. 🤷‍♂️
We also need to know more about our client's Needs, Desires, and pain points while delivering the Ad.
We have to understand our client’s deepest desires & needs by understanding their fears & pains to help them accomplish their dreams! 🙂
Having a clearly described Client Avatar will enable us to market a clear message in the advertisement for them to come forth and take further action.
