Chief Minister undergoes minor surgery

Siliguri, Nov 25 (IPR): Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang underwent a minor leg surgery this evening at a Siliguri hospital, prompted by a recent health discomfort that, though initially deemed minor, required surgical intervention.

However, he has assured the people of his good health and pledges to return to his duties and responsibilities within two days.
The Chief Minister has expressed gratitude for the understanding and support extended by the people during this period.

विगत 2009 मा तुमिन लिङ्गी समष्टिअन्तर्गत जाङ्ग क्षेत्रमा एनएचपीसीद्वारा जलविद्युत परियोजनाको काम गर्दा आफ्नो घर-जमीन गुमाएका 30 परिवारले आज 14 वर्षपछि क्षतिपूर्ति पाएका छन्।

2009 मा एनएचपीसीद्वारा गरिएको जनविद्युत परियोजनाको कारण धेरैले आफ्नो घर तथा जमीन गुमाउनु परेको थियो भने यसको क्षतिपूर्तिको निम्ति एसकेएम सरकार गठन भएपछि मात्र 2022 मा एउटा समझौता भएपछि यो प्रक्रिया अघि बढ़ेको थियो।
