From the first time I met you at the screening of "Ajeeb Dastan" in 2018, our collaboration has been nothing short of magical. Initially, I was drawn to the allure of acting in your projects, but as I was still trying to find my own ground, my focus soon shifted as I recognized my knack for marketing, sales, and digital media. Taking on the role of your digital representative has been an honor and a privilege, allowing me to contribute to the growth and success of Avanti Cinema in my own small way.
Over the past six years, I've witnessed and been a part of the release of multiple short films and web series, each one a testament to your creative genius and unwavering dedication. And let's not forget the groundbreaking launch of www.avanticinema.com, a first-of-its-kind streaming platform for independent films that has truly revolutionized the industry. It brought its own set of unforeseen hurdles, but you were never deterred by any of them.
Despite the countless challenges and setbacks along the way, I never lost sight of our shared vision: to bring "Sheeshmahal" to theaters. This labor of love, with its tandem narrative, avant-garde music, and compelling storyline, has become one of the most awaited independent films of Hyderabad. As the release date (14 February 2024) of "Sheeshmahal" draws near, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and excitement. The film, shot at the real International Children's Film Festival with minimal gear and maximum passion, promises to captivate audiences like never before. Being a Hyderabad, and being associated with a film like this, I am forever grateful for this beautiful journey, especially with the release of Sheeshmahal. I am especially moved by the dedication and talent of Sasi (aka Camp Sasi), whose visionary direction & dedication has brought this project to life, whose struggles over the past 10 years have paved the way, and ultimately it is his own might that is bringing this film to theaters.
With its theatrical release on February 14, 2024, "Sheeshmahal" will not only showcase the beauty of Hyderabad but also serve as a timeless archive of the city we all grew up in. I invite everyone to join me in celebrating this momentous occasion and experiencing Hyderabad like never before.
