First Arrest in Dona Paula Dacoity Case

In a major breakthrough, Panaji Police have arrested Mahmmod Ali (46) of Calangute, originally from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, in connection with the Dona Paula dacoity at Dempo Vista on April 20, 2025.

Police said Mahmmod assisted the main accused in identifying the target and harbouring them before and after the crime. A repeat offender, he was earlier arrested in a 2023 Vasco case under multiple serious charges.

He has been remanded to five days’ police custody, and further investigation is underway.

CM Pramod Sawant Announces Compensation for Flood-Affected Paddy Farmers

Cameroon National Arrested with Co***ne in Anjuna, Linked to Earlier Drug Case
