🚭 TO***CO AWARENESS PROGRAMME 🚭

Today, Saturday, 19 September 2026, Devs Kids World High School, Kundrorian Katra, organised a To***co Awareness Programme under the banner of the Eco Club, along with Scouts & Guides students, through awareness posters at the school premises.

The programme was organised under the leadership of Director Smt. Sharda Devi Ji and Principal Smt. Anupam Sharma, along with dedicated staff members.

Education Awareness Program: On 18 September 2026, an Education Awareness Program was organized by Hands of Hope Charitable Trust at Government Middle School, Jullakha Mohalla, Jammu, with the aim of creating awareness among students about the importance of education, discipline, personal development, and building a bright future. The program was organized by following Trust representatives, Mr. Rovin Kumar, FOUNDER PRESIDENT of Trust and JK NC LEADER, JKRDS CHAIRMAN & SECRETARY DISTRICT REASI KATRA, Mr. Vikas Teji, Vice President; Mr. Amit Kumar, Secretary; Mr. Abhishek Sotra, Joint Secretary; Mr. Rohit, Advisor; Mr. Sansar Chand, Legal Advisor and Mr. Subash Chander press Secretary. During the program, the Trust representatives interacted with the students, motivated them to pursue their studies sincerely, respect their teachers and parents, develop positive values, and make proper use of educational opportunities. The program was a meaningful initiative towards motivating students and promoting education for the betterment of society.

DDC Reasi reviews progress on heritage conservation projects in the district

REASI, SEPTEMBER 15: District Development Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek today chaired a meeting of the District Level Co-ordination-cum-Implementation Committee to review the ongoing and proposed heritage conservation projects being undertaken by the Department of Archives, Archaeology and Museums in the district.
The committee held detailed deliberations on the progress of ongoing heritage conservation works and reviewed issues affecting their timely ex*****on. Discussions focused on the repair, renovation and restoration of key heritage sites, including Bhimgarh Fort and Dera Baba Shrine, besides other heritage conservation initiatives.
The committee also reviewed newly proposed projects, particularly the Conservation, Revival and Restoration of the historic Bhimgarh Fort at Reasi and the Conservation, Repair and Renovation of the Heritage Building at Chanena Devta in Salal.
The District Development Commissioner directed the concerned officers to maintain close coordination among all stakeholders, ensure timely resolution of issues and adhere strictly to prescribed technical and conservation standards. He emphasized that heritage conservation works must be undertaken with due care to safeguard the historical, architectural and cultural significance of these important sites.
Additional District Development Commissioner Krishan Lal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar, Chief Planning Officer Narinder Kumar, Deputy Director, Archives, Archaeology and Museums, Jammu, Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, and other concerned officers were present.

कैजुअल लेबरर्स की मांगों को लेकर LOP सुनील शर्मा से मिले पवन कुमार

जम्मू-कश्मीर कैजुअल लेबरर्स यूनाइटेड फ्रंट के प्रेसिडेंट पवन कुमार ने कैजुअल लेबरर्स की लंबित मांगों को लेकर जम्मू-कश्मीर विधानसभा के लीडर ऑफ अपोज़ीशन श्री सुनील शर्मा जी से मुलाकात कर मांगों का ज्ञापन सौंपा।

ज्ञापन में प्रमुख मांगें रखी गईं—

🔹 1994 के बाद से कार्यरत सभी आरजी मुलाजिमों/कैजुअल वर्कर्स को रेगुलेशन के दायरे में लाया जाए।
🔹 UT बनने के बाद लागू न्यूनतम वेतन दरों को प्रभावी रूप से लागू किया जाए।
🔹 लेबर कोड को लागू किया जाए।
🔹 60 वर्ष की आयु पूरी कर चुके डेली वेजर्स को ₹5 लाख का मुआवजा दिया जाए।
🔹 ड्यूटी के दौरान जान गंवाने वाले कर्मचारियों के परिवार से एक सदस्य को रोजगार दिया जाए।
🔹 सभी कैजुअल लेबरर्स को इंश्योरेंस के दायरे में लाया जाए।

पवन कुमार ने कहा कि वर्षों से अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे कैजुअल लेबरर्स और उनके परिवारों के भविष्य को सुरक्षित करना सरकार की प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए।

DDC Reasi reviews progress of NABARD RIDF works
REASI, SEPTEMBER 12: District Development Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek today chaired a meeting to review the progress of development works being executed under the NABARD Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) in the district.
During the meeting, a detailed work-wise status of NABARD RIDF projects being executed by the PWD (R&B) was presented. The meeting reviewed the physical and financial progress of ongoing and completed works, with particular emphasis on road connectivity and bridge infrastructure.
The DDC took a detailed review of ongoing works and assessed the issues affecting their progress, including pending forest clearances, land and alignment disputes and other site-related impediments. He directed the concerned officers to closely monitor the projects and take all necessary measures to resolve bottlenecks and ensure their timely completion.
He further directed the officers to submit the Project Completion Reports (PCRs) of all completed works to the concerned agencies without delay.
The meeting also reviewed works proposed for foreclosure and stressed the importance of effective inter-departmental coordination for the proper implementation of NABARD-funded projects. The DDC directed the concerned officers to accord priority to newly approved projects requiring pre-ex*****on formalities and ensure their expeditious processing.
Emphasising the importance of improved road connectivity and infrastructure development for the people of the district, the DDC directed that all ongoing works be executed in strict adherence to prescribed quality standards and timelines.
Superintending Engineer, PWD; Chief Planning Officer; Executive Engineer, PWD; and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
