Can we just take a minute and talk about what’s really going on?
Lately, I keep hearing people say Trump is this big liar causing depression over gas prices. Honestly? I think we’re missing the point.
I’ve lived through some of the hardest times -deep poverty, living in a house with no doors, using buckets for water, and sitting around a propane heater just trying to stay warm. I’ve been there. I know what it feels like to struggle just to get by.
And yet, here we are, upset about gas prices? Really? That’s just a small piece of a much bigger puzzle. The real issues are corruption, greed, and systems that keep working against the everyday person.
I’ve seen contractors hire untrained, sometimes undocumented workers willing to risk their lives just to make a living. I care about those workers. But the truth is, their employers are the ones really responsible-hiring illegally, paying under the table, and pushing people into poverty.
And what happens next? Those workers send money back home, only to be told they have to work overtime for free or face deportation. Many go back to poverty, feeling trapped. I’ve been there-living in poverty that most people wouldn’t believe.
If we’re upset about gas prices, we should also be asking: What’s really broken here? How do big corporations manipulate laws to crush competition? How do politicians serve the wealthy and leave the rest of us behind?
I support leaders who understand the tricks-people like Trump, who’s willing to fight those corrupt systems. They’re not perfect, but they see what’s really happening.
And in my own experience, I’ve seen how dishonesty and unfair practices hurt everyone-whether it’s union jobs where foremen work for free, or companies hiding profits to make more money. It’s all part of a bigger problem.
We need to ask ourselves: Are we just going to complain, or are we going to demand real change?
Because if we keep ignoring the root causes-corruption, exploitation, broken laws-nothing is going to get better.
What do you think?
