All for their personal and political gains the governments have been using the Adivasi community...but the bigger question is for how long are we Adivasis going to keep on dancing in the tunes of these politicians

A major row has erupted over Assam’s grand Jhumur dance showcase, where 8,888 performers from the tea tribe community enthralled Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Assam Tea’s 200-year celebration.

Widely believed to be a Guinness World Record attempt, checks now show no such recognition.

While government sources insist it was purely cultural, this contradicts the Prime Minister’s remarks and left participants, many of whom skipped exams, disheartened.

Promised ₹25,000 rewards and certificates remain undelivered, sparking questions about who misled the public, why claims were unclear, what went wrong, when fulfilment will happen, how accountability will be ensured, and where trust stands.
