The Communication and Journalism Cell, IIM Calcutta in collaboration with Literary Club, IIM Calcutta brings you the first guest session of 2021: From Banker to Author (And Much More) by Sonya Dutta Choudhary, Author & Journalist, IIM Calcutta, Batch of 1992.
Sonya Dutta Choudhary is an alum from the batch of 1992. She started her career as a banker & then in international marketing but got revised and edited into writing.
A journalist with more than 15 years of experience, Sonya writes for The Times of India, The Hindu, Mint, Forbes Magazine. She is the author of “Career Rules: How to Choose Right & Get the Life You Want” published by Harper Collins, and the founder of Sonya's Book Box.
Staying true to her management roots, she often conducts workshops and offers courses on 'Leadership Through Literature.

Inter-Hostel Series:

After easily disposing of their first-round opponents, the OH and NH throwball teams put up a classic, with the Hunters narrowly edging out the Phoenix in a nail-biting finish which was as brutally fought on the field as it was on the sidelines.

In the footer, NH knocked out OH with a convincing 7-0 washout. The Hunters, however, defeated the LVH Warriors (who were defeated by WH in the previous round) with the same margin to claim the third place. The finals will be played between the NH Phoenix and the WH Commandoz. This one is going to be bloody, take our word for it.

It's Over.
The Phoenix stayed true to their name and came back from the 4th position to win it all with a massive final tally of 863 votes.

Congratulations to the Winners - NH Phoenix.

We hope to see the same enthusiasm from the batch in the competitive events that are starting from today. Let's go Joka.
