Amjed Ullah Khan today visited Masjid-e-Abadi Sayeedi situated in Nadargul Village of Bandangpet Panchayat in Ranga Reddy District of Telangana State to know about the facts of viral video which was being circulated in social media since last one week.
Mr Khan met Syed Amjad the person who made the video appeal and one Syed Sadeq and many local muslim who informed that the said Masjid was having 19 Acres of Wakf Land and as there was no one to look after this Wakf property which resulted in majority of the land getting enchroged and now only 4 Acres of land worth Rs/ 80.0 Crores is under Masjid Committee control.
There are some Graves outside the entrance and wall of existing Masjid and it was being misused daily, many people were passing urine at the Graves and throwing unwanted articles on the Graves so Syed Amjad decided to raise the boundary wall around the Graves and after two days of work the local Counsellor Sri Sridhar Reddy from BJP party came and objected to raising of boundary wall and demolished it.A complaint was made with Adibatla Police Station under Rachakonda Commisnerate against Sridhar Reddy and others.The police issued FIR and case under investigation.
Mr Khan spoke to Sri Khaja Moinuddin (Dy SP) & CEO Telangana State WAKF Board who assured the not only outside boundary wall will be raised but fencing for remaining four Acres of Wakf Land will be done immediately and a formal complaint on behalf of Wakf Board will be also done in Adibatla Police Station.
