Seijosa Home Invasion Turns Violent: Police Arrest Several, Prime Accused Still at Large
In a major crackdown following a violent home invasion, Seijosa Police have arrested multiple individuals involved in a mob attack at Mobuso-I village under Pakke Kessang district, which occurred in the early hours of 25th July 2025.
As per an FIR lodged by Shri Nama Nabam, a group led by Shri Thomas Tachang, Shri Marcus Tachang, Shri Kame Techi, Shri Mohan Techi Tara (of 4th IRBN), and others forcibly entered his residence around 2:00 AM. The mob allegedly ransacked the house, vandalized multiple vehicles—including a truck, an Alto car (AR-01E-9418), a tractor, and a motorcycle—and issued death threats to the complainant’s family. They also reportedly threatened to set the house ablaze before fleeing in two black Mahindra Thars and a Grand Vitara.
A case was swiftly registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and ASI L. Sahu was assigned to lead the investigation.
Acting on specific intelligence, a police team led by DySP Sashi Dore (SDPO Seijosa), comprising SI M. Hussain, SI D. Talley, and others, conducted operations under the direct supervision of SP Pakke Kessang Shri Tasi Darang. On 26th July, with support from Ruksin Police, the team apprehended two suspects—Shri Kame Techi and Shri Tado Techi—and seized a Mahindra Thar (AR24-9999).
