Pedro Mota, a Dutch citizen, and YouTuber was documenting a vlog in the streets of Bengaluru's Chickpet area.

Pedro was manhandled by a trader, probably a shopkeeper, who aggressively pulled the youtuber's hand while he was trying to record a video in the city's busy market.

Video of this uncalled for incident with the YouTuber has gone viral on social media, receiving wide criticism.

Pedro, who has two YouTube channels with a total of nearly 1 lakh subscribers shared the video titles "Attacked At The Thieves Market in India" on his channel Madly Rober, sharing the video of the attack and his experience.

After the video went viral today, Bengaluru police arrested the accused, named Navab Hayath Sharif for harassing the vlogger.

B. Dayananda Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City, while speaking to the media said, "It's an old video which has come into circulation now. The person harassing in the video has been identified, traced, and action has been taken. No scope for such highhandedness in Naamma Bengaluru against anybody."

In a disturbing incident, the lifeless body of a woman BJP leader has been discovered near the National Highway-17 in the state's Goalpara district, police said.

The victim, identified as Jonali Nath was the District Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, Goalpara.

The family of the deceased witnessed several injury marks on Jonali's body and alleged that it was a pre-planned murder.

Jonali's body was found in Krishnai Salpar area on Sunday midnight.

According to the police, her family members mentioned that she had left for Islampur at around 4:30pm on Sunday for some personal work. At around 7pm, when her husband tried to call, the phone was not reachable. The family mention reported about the incident to the police and her body was found around 12am.

The political circles are in mourning over the loss of a valued BJP leader, and there is an outpouring of condolences from across the state.
