The Blue Whale, the largest animal to ever exist on Earth, is a testament to the incredible scale of life in our oceans. These gentle giants can reach lengths of up to 100 feet and weigh as much as 200 tons. Blue Whales are filter feeders, using baleen plates to strain small marine organisms like krill from the water. Despite their enormous size, their populations were decimated by whaling in the past. Today, they are a symbol of marine conservation efforts and a reminder of the importance of protecting our oceans and the magnificent creatures that inhabit them.
