We at Adivaasi Drishyam are organizing an online workshop on Adivasi/Tribal/Indigenous Songs and Meaning, titled ‘Our Songs Our Identity’ on Sunday, 15th October 2023.
Songs have been an integral part of the Adivasi identity, history, culture, value and knowledge systems. Through this workshop, we hope to create a co-learning space and learn about our communities through these songs, and in the process, learn about our own selves. Therefore, this workshop is an endeavour to reconnect with our roots, preserve the rich cultural knowledge, and celebrate the richness and diversity of our community.
