🚀🇮🇳 Historic Milestone for India in Space! Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla has etched his name in history as the second Indian after Rakesh Sharma to travel to space, and the first Indian to visit the International Space Station (ISS). Launched on October 29, 2024, aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket as part of the Axiom-4 mission, Shukla is accompanied by three other crew members for a 14-day mission packed with scientific exploration. 🪐The Axiom-4 crew is set to conduct 60 cutting-edge experiments, advancing our understanding of life in space and its applications on Earth. 🌱 Their research includes agricultural studies to test crop seed resilience in microgravity, aiming to develop sustainable food production for future space missions and Earth’s challenging environments. 🔬 Biological experiments will focus on Cyanobacteria growth in space, exploring its potential for oxygen production and fuel generation. Additionally, human physiology studies will investigate muscle atrophy in microgravity, providing insights into astronaut health and medical advancements for Earth. This mission marks a proud moment for India’s space program, showcasing its growing presence in global space exploration. Shukla’s journey to the ISS is not just a step into space but a giant leap for Indian science and innovation! 🌟
