Kargil Vijay Diwas Observed with Patriotic Zeal at PSPS Govt. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu

In a vibrant display of national pride and heartfelt remembrance, PSPS Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas with a series of soul-stirring and patriotic activities on 26th July 2025. Organized under the patronage of Prof. Geetanjali Andotra, the Principal of the College and the guidance of Col. Muneesh Jasrotia, Commanding Officer, 8J&K Girls Bn.NCC, the day stood as a poignant reminder of the courageous spirit and unyielding sacrifice of the Kargil martyrs.

With creative enthusiasm and unwavering resolve, the cadets of the 8 J&K Girls Battalion NCC, Jammu, participated in a Poster Making Competition—a vivid portrayal of valor, sacrifice, and the indomitable will of Indian soldiers. The posters, filled with emotional depth and artistic brilliance, reflected themes of undaunted patriotism and unforgettable heroism.

Adding momentum to the tribute was the Shaurya Rally—a spirited march infused with passionate slogans and rhythmic steps of unity. Winding through the way to Asia Chowk and Ware house, the rally stood as a symbol of youthful courage and collective gratitude toward the brave hearts who laid down their lives in service of the nation.

Lt. Suman Bala and Lt. Rukhsana Kousar, Associate NCC Officers of 8J&K Girls Bn Coordinated the event and witnessed enthusiastic participation and overwhelming support.

With its heartfelt tributes and spirited displays, the event rekindled patriotic fervor and reinforced the timeless message of bravery and nation-first spirit embodied by the heroes of Kargil.
