After 18 years of memes, heartbreaks and endless hope, Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally brought the cup home! In a heart-stopping finals, RCB defeated Punjab Kings by just 6 runs, claiming their first-ever IPL title and rewriting history.
Batting first, RCB posted 190/9 with steady hands from Kohli, Salt and Livingstone, despite Punjab’s bowling attack led by Arshdeep Singh. The chase had fans on edge, especially in the final over, when Shashank Singh almost pulled off the impossible. But Hazlewood’s nerves of steel sealed the win.
Virat Kohli was in tears as this win was personal. He embraced Anushka Sharma in an emotional moment that went viral, later dedicating the victory to legends AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle. It was the perfect tribute to a legacy built on loyalty, heartbreak and unmatched fan love.
