# # # Major Meeting Held on Flyover Issue at Samba District Headquarters

A high-level meeting was conducted at the Samba district headquarters regarding the construction of a flyover. The meeting was attended by MLA Surjeet Singh Slathia, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma, Additional DC, SDM Ghagwal Sunaina Saini, Tehsildar Shakeel Ahmed, officials from the National Highway Authority, and residents of Jatwal.

राज्यसभा में अमित शाह के 10 बड़े बयान: आतंकवादियों पर होगी सीधी कार्रवाई, धारा 370 के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर में विकास चरम पर

गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने आज राज्यसभा में जम्मू-कश्मीर को लेकर बड़ा बयान दिया। उन्होंने आतंकवाद और उसके समर्थकों पर सख्त रुख अपनाते हुए कहा कि "आतंकवादियों और उन्हें शह देने वालों को सीधे गोली मारी जाएगी।" इसके साथ ही उन्होंने कांग्रेस और विपक्षी दलों पर जमकर निशाना साधा और धारा 370 हटाने के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर में हुए व्यापक बदलावों को गिनाया।

राज्यसभा में अमित शाह की 10 बड़ी बातें:

1. आतंकवादियों पर सख्त कार्रवाई: आतंकवाद और उसे समर्थन देने वालों को किसी भी सूरत में बख्शा नहीं जाएगा, सीधी गोली मारी जाएगी।

2. विपक्ष पर हमला: कांग्रेस और विपक्षी दलों ने हमेशा जम्मू-कश्मीर के विकास में रोड़ा अटकाया है।

3. धारा 370 के बाद बदलाव: अनुच्छेद 370 हटाने के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर में सबसे ज्यादा विकास हुआ है।

4. पर्यटन में नया रिकॉर्ड: इस साल जम्मू-कश्मीर में अब तक का सबसे ज्यादा पर्यटक आगमन दर्ज किया गया है।

5. शांति का नया युग: पंचायत चुनाव से लेकर लोकसभा चुनाव तक जम्मू-कश्मीर में कोई हिंसा नहीं हुई।

6. नवीनतम विकास परियोजनाएँ: जम्मू-कश्मीर में सड़कों, अस्पतालों और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में ऐतिहासिक काम हुए हैं।

7. युवाओं के लिए अवसर: पहले के मुकाबले अब जम्मू-कश्मीर में रोजगार और उद्योगों का विस्तार हुआ है।

8. धार्मिक स्थलों का पुनर्निर्माण: कई प्रमुख मंदिरों और धार्मिक स्थलों का पुनर्निर्माण कराया गया है।

9. आम जनता की सुरक्षा: स्थानीय नागरिक अब पहले से ज्यादा सुरक्षित और खुशहाल महसूस कर रहे हैं।

10. नई राजनीतिक धारा: जम्मू-कश्मीर में पहली बार स्थानीय स्तर पर लोकतंत्र मजबूत हुआ और नए नेतृत्व को उभरने का मौका मिला। "जम्मू-कश्मीर को खुशहाल और सुरक्षित बनाना हमारी प्राथमिकता है, और इसमें कोई समझौता नहीं किया जाएगा।"

Jatwal National Highway Blocked

In the Samba district of Jammu & Kashmir, thousands of residents from Jatwal have blocked the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway. The protest is in demand for the construction of a flyover in the area. Locals had earlier warned about their agitation, and today, they took to the streets, causing a complete roadblock.

*SAMBA POLICE DETAINED 7 VAGRANTS WANDERING NEAR DRUG HOTSPOT, SENT TO DISTRICT JAIL KATHUA*

Samba, March 19, 2025: Continuing its drive against vagrants wandering near chitta hotspot, Samba Police has detained seven (07) vagrants under preventive sections of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghagwal and sent them to district Jail Kathua.

A Police team headed by SHO PS Vijaypur during special operation around infamous chitta hotspot Rakh Barotia has detained four vagrants who were wandering suspiciously in the area.

Similarly in another operation, a police team headed by Incharge Police Post Rajpura has detained three vagrants who were coming from infamous chitta hotspot Rakh Barotia and wandering suspiciously in the Mawa area.

The detained vagrants have been identified as Akash, Ashwani Choudhary, Rakesh Kumar, Raman Choudhary, Rocky Kumar, Shubam Sharma and Neeraj Pangotra. This move aims to curb drug-related offenses and rehabilitate those involved in narcotics substance abuse.

Samba Police has reiterated its commitment to eliminate the drug menace from the society and assured that stringent action will continue against those involved in drug peddling and drug abuse. The general public is encouraged to remain vigilant and support Police in its efforts to eradicate the drug menace from the society

FDP on Sustainable Development Inaugurated at CU Jammu

In continuous drive against Drug Abuse launched by District Police Reasi, surprise naka & checking is being conducted to check the offenders & criminals.

Police team of Police Station Katra led by SHO Katra Inspector Khyati Maan khajuria while performing checking/frisking of vehicles stopped one auto bearing Registration No. JK20-0887 coming from Kakryal side towards katra town for checking. During checking of said auto rickshaw, G***a likes substance approx. 1.5 KGs, has been recovered from three persons namely 1. Sandeep Singh S/O Bansi Lal caste Rajput R/O Kaithi (Ramban), 2. Ashish Kumar S/O Rajmal Singh R/O Teliband Chowk Raipur Chattisgarh 3. Sonu S/O Rishipal R/O Budhanpur Chattisgarh.

On this FIR No. 73/2025 U/S 8/20/29 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Katra and investigation is ongoing to unearth backward and forward linkage.

Reasi Police is working on multipronged strategy to deal with the problem of drug abuse, on one hand awareness programs are being organized in every nook and corner of the district and on the other hand drug peddlers are being booked under PITNDPS Act on regular basis, whereas Reasi Police also started Anti Drug Helpline Number 9070907017 for general public where identity of caller is kept secret.

Reasi Police while giving tough message for drug peddlers added that there is no space for Drug Peddlers in Reasi. Drug peddlers should shun the path of spoiling our generation and must return to mainstream otherwise they will have to face the consequences as per law

All India Bank Strike: UFBU Calls for 48-Hour Nationwide Protest from March 23 Midnight

1️⃣ Strike Announcement: United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), representing over 8 lakh bank employees, has called for a 48-hour nationwide strike from midnight of March 23 to midnight of March 25, 2025.

2️⃣ Key Demands: The strike demands include adequate recruitment, implementation of a five-day workweek, withdrawal of government directives on performance review and PLI, protection of staff from assaults, and amendments to the Gratuity Act.

3️⃣ Staffing Crisis in Banks: Public Sector Banks have faced a significant decline in staff over the past decade, leading to increased workload and reduced customer service efficiency.

4️⃣ Five-Day Workweek Delay: Despite recommendations from Indian banks, the government has yet to approve a five-day workweek, unlike RBI, insurance companies, and private sector firms.

5️⃣ Additional Concerns: Other demands include stopping unfair labor practices, preventing the outsourcing of permanent jobs, and maintaining a minimum of 51% government equity in IDBI Bank.

6️⃣ Public Appeal: UFBU urges public support, emphasizing that the strike is necessary due to the government’s inaction on key banking sector issues.
