1. Assistant Director (AD)

The Assistant Director plays a key role in assisting the director with various aspects of production, ensuring that the creative vision is realized while managing the logistics and coordination on set. The following are typical requirements for this role:

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-production: Assist with script breakdowns, schedule creation, and coordination with other departments (camera, art, sound, etc.).

On-set Management: Supervise and manage actors, crew, and extras. Ensure that everything runs on time and that scenes are executed according to the director's vision.

Communication: Act as a liaison between the director, crew, and cast to ensure smooth communication.

Problem-Solving: Address issues that arise during production and resolve them quickly.

Post-production: Assist in editing and ensuring the final product aligns with the vision of the director.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in film or TV production, with a focus on Assistant Directing.

Education: A degree or diploma in film production, media, or a related field is often preferred.

Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize.

In-depth knowledge of production processes and equipment.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
