On behalf of Mumbai March, it is with immense pleasure that we invite you to join us on the morning of October 2nd, 2024, at 7:00 AM at Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) to celebrate the successful conclusion of the Mumbai Monsoon Festival, a unique 16-week journey through the heart of Mumbai. Over the past seven years, this festival has aimed to shift the narrative surrounding Mumbai’s iconic monsoons from a source of urban inconvenience to a celebration of the city’s natural beauty, history, and heritage.

Following the ceremony at SGNP, we are organizing a special guided tour of the historic Kanheri Caves. This tour will be led by Mr. Anand Kothari, a renowned expert in Numismatics and Archaeology. Mr. Kothari, who specializes in deciphering ancient coins and symbols, will provide invaluable insights into the historical and cultural significance of the Kanheri Caves and connection to Mumbai’s past.
