Why Power-by-the-Hour (PBH) is Still Flying High in 2025?

PBH agreements continue to dominate aviation maintenance, offering airlines cost predictability, operational reliability, and scalable support as fleets grow.

Here's why airlines are sticking with PBH:
✅ Fixed hourly rates = budget control
✅ Reduced AOG downtime via global rotable pools
✅ Seamless scalability for expanding fleets
✅ Simplified warranty & logistics
✅ Supports circular economy goals

AJW Group remains a key PBH player — now supporting Air Transat’s A321ceo and neo fleet across Canada, with a 92% first-pass fix rate and 73% warranty recovery on eligible claims.

PBH contracts often include warranty recovery services, saving airlines significant costs. AJW Group reports recovering nearly 73% of eligible warranty claims, reducing OPEX further.
