MTU Aero Engines reported a 21% year-on-year revenue growth to €4.1B and a 40% rise in adjusted EBIT, driven by strong commercial MRO demand and recovery in the GTF engine supply chain.
As a key partner in Pratt & Whitney’s GTF program, MTU’s MRO segment now accounts for nearly 40% of its maintenance revenue, reflecting increased throughput and shorter turnaround times, especially for the PW1100G-JM powering the A320neo. A solid sign of momentum returning to the engine aftermarket space.
