Chicken Samosa Recipe
Ingredients:
For Dough:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
¾ cup water (as needed)
For Filling:
2 tbsp oil
1 large onion (finely chopped)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 green chilies (finely chopped)
2 chicken breasts (boiled and shredded)
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
½ cup chicken stock or water
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped)
For Sealing:
2 tbsp flour + 3 tbsp water (to make paste)
Method:
Make dough: Mix flour, salt, and oil. Add water gradually and knead into stiff dough. Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
Prepare filling: Heat oil in a pan. Sauté onion, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies for 2 minutes.
Add spices (turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder) and mix well.
Add chicken pieces and chicken stock. Cook until chicken is done and mixture thickens. Add coriander leaves and cool.
Divide dough into small balls, roll into thin circles. Fold each into a cone shape, fill with chicken mixture, and seal edges with flour paste.
Deep fry samosas in hot oil until golden and crispy.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
