Suresh Tamang, President of Singtam Nagar Panchayat, has expressed his condolences over the unfortunate incident that took place yesterday at Lall Bazar, Singtam. He further clarified that Singtam Bazar remained open as usual, dispelling rumours of a complete shutdown. Just 39-Years-Old Energetic Mr. Pradhan was attacked brutally last evening in Singtam by meat seller father and son , Ishlam Sheikh and Janak Sheikh. Duo are currently detained by Singtam Police.

Dinesh Pradhan, who was injured in yesterday’s fight at Singtam Bazar, was rushed to Singtam Hospital for treatment but sadly lost his life due to excessive blood loss.

May his soul rest in peace, and may he get the justice he truly deserves.

Murder or Heated Argument? Tragic Clash at Singtam Bazar on Dusshera.

Reportedly A dispute this evening around 5:30 PM at Lal Bazar, Singtam turned fatal after a fight between 35-year-old Dinesh Pradhan, a resident of Sikkim, and meat shop owner Mohammad Islam along with his son Jalal Shek, non-residents of Sikkim.

During the altercation, Dinesh Pradhan suffered a severe hand injury leading to heavy blood loss. He was rushed to Singtam Hospital and later referred to Gangtok, but sadly passed away around 7:00 PM.

Reports are unclear whether this was a case of murder or an outcome of a heated argument. Police have detained the shop owner and his son, and investigation is ongoing.

Official confirmation awaited.

Many people often resort to hitting or throwing stones at stray dogs when they are seen mating. However, this behavior stems from a lack of awareness. During this season, dogs experience a natural surge in testosterone, which drives them to seek partners and maintain hormonal balance.

We must remember not to act cruelly. Instead of responding with aggression, allow them to be in their natural state. If it makes you uncomfortable, simply divert your attention elsewhere rather than inflicting harm. These innocent animals have the right to live — and the right to breed.

Manisha Thapa, a cabin crew member, was also on board the ill-fated Air India Flight Al171 that crashed in Ahmedabad yesterday.

Manisha was one of the ten cabin crew members on board. Her colleagues from Manipur, Nganthoi Sharma Kongbrailatpam and Lamnunthem Singson, also lost their lives in the devastating crash near Ahmedabad on Thursday afternoon.
