The Train short film showcased at Kodagu Vidyalaya, Madikeri

ಮಡಿಕೇರಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಕೊಡಗು ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಟ್ರೈನ್ ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ, ಸಂವಾದ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪಠ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನೋಡುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಯುಕ್ತತೆ ಕುರಿತು ಲೇಖಕ-ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ವಿನಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂ. ಜಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಕೊಡಗು ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಸುಮಿತ್ರಾ, ಕಲರ್ ಪ್ಯಾಲೆಟ್ ಕಲಾ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಆದಿಗುರು ಪ್ರಾಡಿಜಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ನವೀನ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Kodagu Vidyalaya, a renowned educational institute in Madikeri, Coorg recently hosted the screening of the short film The Train. The session included the discussion with teachers and students and a a tiny workshop by the writer and film maker Vinay Kumar M. G under the title 'Possibilities and Benefits of Understanding a Film As a Visual Text'. The principal of the institute Smt. Sumithra, Mr. Prasanna Kumar, an art teacher, Mr. Naveen from Aadiguru Prodigy, an Ed-tech firm were present in the workshop.

ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಕಲ್ಚರಲ್ ಕಲೆಕ್ಟಿವ್, ಎಂಪ್ಟಿ ಪಾಕೆಟ್ ಡ್ರೀಮ್ಸ್, ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜು ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್, ಬಿಡದಿ ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ‌ ಆಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಲೆಟ್ಸ್ ಮೇಕ್‌ ಎ ಶಾರ್ಟ್ ಫಿಲಂ ಕೋರ್ಸ್'ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿರುವ‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿನ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ರಂಗರೂಪ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಾವೇ ನಟಿಸಿದರು. ವಯಸ್ಸು ಪುಟ್ಟದಾದರೂ ಅವರೊಳಗಿನ ಕಲ್ಪನಾಶಕ್ತಿ, ರಂಗದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಭಾವಾಭಿನಯ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು. ಆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನಟರಾಗಿಸಿ ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಲೇಖಕ, ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ವಿನಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂ. ಜಿ. ರವರು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮಗುವಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಕಲ್ಚರಲ್ ಕಲೆಕ್ಟಿವ್, ಎಂಪ್ಟಿ ಪಾಕೆಟ್ ಡ್ರೀಮ್ಸ್, ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜು ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್, ಬಿಡದಿ ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ‌ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಆಂಕರಿಂಗ್ ಕಲೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಖುಷಿಯಿಂದ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಜೊತೆ ಕುಣಿದು ಕುಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತ

ಲೆಟ್ಸ್ ಮೇಕ್ ಎ ಶಾರ್ಟ್ ಫಿಲಂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಅವರನ್ನೇ ನಟ-ನಟಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರಾಗಿಸಿ ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರವೊಂದನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ವಿಶೇಷ ಯೋಜನೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪ್ರಾಜೆಕ್ಟ್'ಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಐದನೇಯ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡದಿಯ ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜು ಸಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್'ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇದೇ ಶನಿವಾರ ಅದರ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಿಗ್'ಬಾಸ್ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ಸೈಮಾ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ನಟ ಚಂದನ್ ಆಚಾರ್'ರವರು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದು ಭಾಗೀದಾರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ನಟನಾ ತರಗತಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಂದು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಪ್ರತೀ ತಿಂಗಳ ಎರಡನೇಯ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಕವಿಯೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಕವನ ಸಂಕಲನವೊಂದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾತಿನಿಧಿಕವಾಗಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಟ್ಟು ಸಮಕಾಲೀನ ಕಾವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸುವ ಜಸ್ಟ್ ಪದ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರೂ ಆದ ಬಿ. ಶ್ರೀಪಾದ ಭಟ್'ರವರು ಫ್ಯಾಸಿಸಂ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾವ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಕಂತಿನ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಚಿಂತಕರೂ ಕವಿಗಳೂ ಆದ ವಸಂತ ಬನ್ನಾಡಿಯವರು ಲೇಖಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ವಿನಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂ. ಜಿ.ರವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜಸ್ಟ್ ಪದ್ಯ 2023ನೇ ವರುಷದ ಗೌರವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರೂ ಕವಿಗಳೂ ಆದ ಮೃತ್ಯುಂಜಯ ಕೆ.ಪಿ. ಮತ್ತು Bigkannada.comನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಪಾದಕರೂ ಲೇಖಕರೂ ಆದ ವಿ.ಆರ್.ಕಾರ್ಪೆಂಟರ್'ರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೇ ಹೊತ್ತಲ್ಲಿ ನಂದಾ ದೀಪ, ಶಶಿಧರ ಸಬ್ಬನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನಸ ಬನ್ನಂಗಾಡಿಯವರು ವಸಂತ ಬನ್ನಾಡಿಯವರ ಪದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕವಿಗಳು, ಪರಿಚಯ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರೂ ಆದ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರಾಧ್ಯರವರು ಈ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು
ಸಮನ್ವಯಗೊಳಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
