तुम्हारी अनंत लहरों के पार,
मैं उस भूमि को देखना चाहता हूँ
जहाँ मेरा जन्म हुआ,
जहाँ मेरी मिट्टी है,
जहाँ मेरे स्वजन हैं, और जहाँ मेरी प्रतिज्ञाएँ अधूरी पड़ी हैं।

मैं यहाँ कैद हूँ—
