National Legal Essay Competition, 2016.

Libertad de Expresiôn in association with TMT Law Practice is pleased to announce a national level legal essay writing competition, 2016.

Libertad de Expresión is a start-up website featuring a blend of law, politics, business, sports, technology and lifestyle. We are a bunch of college students with a vision to channelise a free
flow of views, ideas and opinions on issues of current national importance. It is purely a student-intiative and our concerted step towards effective enterpreneurship.

We are obliged to associate with TMT Law Practice, India’s first and boutique Technology,Media and Telecommunications Law firm with offices in New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai,
Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar and associate network office in Mumbai. The firm provides legal advisory services related to intellectual property, regulatory, corporate and transactional, dispute resolution, and legislative work in the technology, media and telecommunications industry. It is among a growing number of mid- and small-size corporate law firms venturing into small cities and industrial towns.

We have organised the National Legal Essay Writing Competition for the first time this year and were enthralled to receive a lot of entries. We have also decided to oraganise this event the next year as the response has been great this time. Due to numerous requests from the students the last date for the entries this year was changed from 10th March, 2016 to 20th March, 2016.

The winners for this year’s National Legal Essay Writing Competition are:

First Prize: Bhagirath Ashiya, School of Law, Christ University, Bengaluru.

Second Prize: Meenal Garg, University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Third Prize: Archit Gupta, National Law Institute University, Bhopal.

Prizes:

1st Place: .8,000 and an internship with TMT Law Practice

2nd Place: .7,000/-

3rd Place: .6,000/-
